Bird Box / House
I purchased second hand books of Amazon so I was well pleased with the cost. For someone who has just started like me in DIY I say it was a good buy. Just enough content to understand what you need to start on. You could purchase a more technical book but, you have to start somewhere buy second hand books.

Lovely projects with good instructions.
I bought this for my Dad who loves wood work. I had a look through it before I wrapped it. I was very inspired to do some woodwork myself, even though I have never done any before. It is fantastic for my Dad because he likes both woodwork and gardening and he has his own workshop. The only thing I would say is that it suggests quite a lot of techniques that use quite a lot of equipment/ power tools. I personally only have a few hand tools and an electric drill. My Dads was really pleased with the book. His favourite project was the mini shed and I really liked the look of the garden seat. The instructions are really clear and simple complete with dimensional drawings.

Easy to read diagrams
Good illustrations and plans. Should give me hours of pleasure building some of the projects.I would have given 5 stars if there had been more difficult projects to make other than bird houses it’s still a good book though overall.

A great book for anyone looking for woodworking projects!
I bought this book on a whim, and find it to be a really good book to give inspiration for some quick woodworking projects. The bok is easy to read, and the photos of the projects are really useful. The projects are varied, so there should be something for everyone! I'm glad I decided to buy this book!

Comprehensive workshop required - unless you can adapt
Whilst the book did give me some ideas I could work with, the level of detail provided for each project varied greatly, as did the skill level required to complete the items to a good standard. However, the most important point to recognise is that few of these projects can be completed as described without a workshop equipped with a comprehensive range of power tools: planer/thicknesser; router & router table; biscuit jointer; band saw; jig saw; belt sander; drum sander; lathe; pillar drill; orbital sander; scroll saw; table saw; etc, and a full set of attachments for each. Not the sort of workshop many DIYers will possess - and not what you might expect to be needed for a range of garden projects.
