They are funny looking, but once you are wearing them with pants the strange look isn't as noticeable. They are certainly warmer if you wear with socks than without, but the solid sole is great for my wood floors. I highly recommend these as perfect, easy slip on and off house shoes!

Bought these to wear when camping in colder temperatures. Just tried them out camping in daytime highs of mid-40s and lows in low-30s. These kept my feet nice and cozy in the tent during the chilly nights and mornings. Bonus is that I could wear them outside for brief trips to the bathroom. I wear a size 10 shoe, and ordered the 10s. At first they fit just right without socks and a bit snug with socks. However, after wearing them with socks a bit more they fit great. Highly recommend!

Had surgery on my foot a few months ago and these just weren't comfortable, they hurt ...so I had to return them....I was really hoping at this price point they'd be comfortable.
