This is a great little toolbox for a bunch of different uses. As a toy gift for that garage junkie in your life, or if you're buying it for yourself, a cool little mini toolbox for your workbench. You could use it for small screwdrivers, mini tools like jewelers tools, watch or eye glasses repair tools, or a variety of other things. Or you could just have it as a toy with the variety of miniature tools available here on Amazon. It is well made, has nice drawer slides, solid hinges, and even has the trim on the front edges like the big boxes. The drawers do have a catch mechanism of sorts, so they stay closed if you move it around. The only thing it doesn't have is a lock to keep the lid closed, and some finger grip handles on the sides. There is also a base cabinet available that this site on perfectly.

Unless you are working in miniature modeling like H0 or N gauge model railroad hobby. These tool boxes are best for bedside tables to catch pens/pencils, loose change, and pocket knives. Or as jewelry boxes. They are well made and have a very good finish. Fun but with limited capacity.

Great little tool box, I hope they offer the bottom box for sale soon. Many years ago I had a SnapOn box that looked a lot like this one. This is perfect for all the tools I use in reloading. I noticed some people were concerned that it doesn't have roller bearing drawers. These drawers aren't large enough to require roller bearings. Roller bearings are installed on larger and wider tool boxes to support the weight of the tools in the drawer. By installing roller bearings on this small almost novelty tool box, it would raise the price considerably. Back in the day if you were buying a new or even used tool box with roller bearings you were spending a small fortune. The sliders do need to be lubricated to maintain a smooth function. I will probably use Dielectric grease but some people use sil glide, or white lithium grease. My first MAC tool box just had sliders top and bottom and they needed to be cleaned lubricated monthly. I think a lot of seasoned mechanics will find this box irresistible. If I was still wrenching I would have bought one for work as well. I really hope the 5 drawer bottom box becomes available soon. 7/15/23 Update I see the other colors are available except the 5 drawer red. Does anybody know if they are on the way, or did they sell out already since red was offered first? 8/10/23 Just got the red 5 drawer bottom box and it is a 1/4" smaller than the top box. It just doesn't look right. I will post photos later. I contacted customer service and I will update soon.

This is a nice little toolbox for storing small items. The drawers are not the smoothest when opening but not bad considering the price. The negative I found is the little rubber feet. The feet do not stick well to the box and are easily knocked off. Nothing that a drop of superglue per foot won't fix.

Cutest little tool box ever! I used this when I did detailing and it worked great for extra essentials. Ended up giving it to my husband due to no longer being in the field of car beauty. He uses it for his nightstand. Can be used for a few things. He loves it. I've dropped it, hit it with tools and didnt even notice any marks. Very durable and sturdy. Has some weight to it so its not cheap and flimsy. Never has an issue with the drawers sticking, so they are smooth when opening.

For the Price of this Tiny thing, i expected to get an exact replica. So i forked over the 100 plus bucks for it and the bottom portion. When i first opened the box i felt i was opening the real tool box. It was very well packaged. But as i set it up i realized it had no tiny casters, instead it has StickOn rubber feets that i don't think will hold up in my states summer weather. I didn't dwell and tried out the drawers and again, was kinda disappointed to find they do not open smoothly and you have to kinda yank on them a litte . SO you'll need both hands as you hold the box then pull on the drawer to open it. Lastly, as the picture shows, parts tend to pop up so when you go to close the drawer, it doesn't. You have to hold the part down as you close it. Maybe i just got a bad one but i'll look into maybe trimming the foam on the bottom and see if that fixes it. All and all, its a conversation peace in your Garage but i think they can do better on the price.

It has a very noticeable wobble, the polystyrene corner bricks it comes with out of the box help a lot to level it out. Great for storing small bits in one place like fuses, batteries, small tools and torches. Smooth drawer runners, comes with protectors for the drawers and top.
