If, unlike me, you want to know which is the best without buying and trying every VR headset under £70 then this is the one. Everything about this set spells upgrade. Nice packaging makes a good impression and on opening the box it looks and feels like class all the way. Slip it on and immediately you know you've made the right choice. It fits comfortably even over glasses, the nose area is bigger than any other set so no more pressure there. The PU leather padding fits perfectly and even after prolonged use eliminates the sweat build up common with others while feeling smoother than fabric. This is due to small perforations in the material. The headband sits perfectly without the annoying stretch effect. The top, back of your head is cradled perfectly in the padded plastic headband linkage. Someone has really done their homework. The new shark fin top front link helps alleviate some of the weight from the face. This explains the greater comfort. Putting the phone in becomes a pleasure rather than an art. The linkage of the previous phone bracket has been cleverly redesigned and now opens wider at the bottom when pressure is applied at the top, easily letting the phone pop in while holding it securely. Even the pressure of the springs is at just the right force instead of the scary tension of the previous version. The linkage is a brilliant piece of design simple but effective. In every department the attention to detail is pleasing and noticeable. Once the phone is in it is brilliant to realise that there is no light leakage which results in no annoying distractions. Now for the lenses. First they look much bigger than previously because the lens holders have been reduced in size. The lenses look so clear and shiny they actually look like glass. There is no distortion whatsoever. The FOV is perfect. Nothing is lost from the edges while maximising the image size. This headset is hard to fault. It is the best of the many I've tried so far but it isn't perfect. It could benefit from glass lenses not because the image isn't clear enough or distorts but because every lens I've tried other than some poorly matched glass ones, exhibits some colour diffraction at the edges. Slight but noticeable. For VR cinema I prefer glass lenses and 5x magnification but this means building your own VR headset which is takes time and trial and error. It would also be nice to have independent lens adjustment like the VR Box headset rather than linked adjustment. However, off-the-shelf I whole heartedly recommend this set as the one to buy - at least until someone starts fitting glass lenses to Shinecon. A brilliant and worthwhile upgrade to the already good Shinecon 1.0

A great vr headset all around. Had a great time using it however over time found it heavy on the head, lenses quality is outstanding and makes you feel extremely immersed, would recommend to anyone wanting a good vr experience that doesn't cost a fortune.

never had a go of any vr goggles before got these so i can watch videos on my break at work well for the price there very well made nice and snug. hold your mobile both android & iphone really well and a bit of adjusting on the vr set and the vr app and its like being in a cinema really good would recommend them.

I thought the lens would be better but overall okay

Comfortable to wear and with the correct apps on your phone, it, is, brilliant. Easily adjusted the focus to suit my eyes. Watching YouTube is very immersive.

I've had a few of these type of vr headsets and this is very nice, quality is excellent, lenses are good and it's very comfortable, buy with confidence
