I’m honestly so impressed with the AOSU SolarCam D1 Lite. The video quality is crystal clear day and night, the motion detection is super accurate, and the solar panel works perfectly. The app is easy to use, notifications come instantly, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing I can check on my home anytime. Installation was quick, the camera feels solid and well-built, and the wide-angle view covers way more than I expected. For a wireless solar camera, this is honestly one of the best I’ve tried. If you’re thinking about getting it, just do it. It’s absolutely worth the 5 stars.

I bought two of these cameras because I needed to monitor a large garden. I already had an Aosu doorbell and was very happy with that, so it seemed natural to try cameras by the same company. Additionally, I wanted to try solar powered cameras because there was no mains power in the location. I was a bit sceptical that solar would work given in December we have very low sunlight. However, after installing devices I was actually extremely amazed. Even on a relatively dark December day the battery has remains at above 95%. So reality is that the device will never need to be removed to chargedup from a USB charger. Adding the device is very simple. If you already have the Aosu app for a doorbell then you just add this as another product. It’s very simple. You just scan the QR code on the device. The solar panel can be mounted away from the camera. You obviously want to point the solar panel due south to ensure you get the maximum solar energy. The resolution is amazing too nighttime quality is extremely good on infrared. There are also the options for white light for boosting images however I don’t think that’s really required. There’s an option for human tracking so you can actually follow somebody around as they move. A microSD card can be installed, as videos are not stored on the cloud unless you pay an additional subscription fee. However, I saw no point in subscribing so I just use the SD card. It connects on Wi-Fi but only on 2.4 GHz. The device also sends a notifications when movement is detected. If you are looking for a low cost but reliable a very good quality video for extra security, my opinion is if you already have Aosu this is an no brainer. If you haven’t tried AOSU before this might be the one to try.

Easy installation and connecting to WiFi network. Good storage capability with the SD Card. Good sturdy construction. Alarm notification and tracking makes this a good security option and night time infrared is excellent quality

Wanted a reasonably priced camera that would not only track but be solar charging. I charged it full before it was installed and connected it to the WiFi. Fitted a 64gb SD card as I didn’t want to pay a subscription fee. As it’s white and against a dark barge board it stands out and provides a visible deterrent too. Placed on a corner and have a 270’ pan and almost 180 vertically. Set up was straight forward and it covers the rear of my property viewing people walking up the drive and to the back door automatically. Every few weeks I delete the recordings just to keep the SD card free. When viewed and the iPad they better quality images are more than good enough. I don’t use the night lighting as I have it set for human detection and this always is lit with my security lights. Very pleased with the performance and results. I can view the live/recorded images from anywhere with the WiFi connection. It has sound recording and I can use the speaker to talk if I wish but I have not done that yet. There is also an audible alarm I can activate manually if necessary. Had this now a good 6 months and it is still performing perfectly. The solar panel is fir convenience only a couple of feet from the camera and south facing. During the summer months it has been more than able to keep the camera at 100%. Earlier in the year it was always 75% + but I did top it up connecting a power bank with usb c connection and it topped up quickly. When viewing live or the recordings it is possible to zoom in with the pinching movement on my phone/ipad which is handy. Great good quality camera at a decent price. When not at home it’s nice to check and have such flexibility to view all around. As it tracks activations it’s also a great deterrent according to my friends who see it following there way to our back door!! Would highly recommend

This camera is honestly the best I’ve ever used. It tracks and detects everything with incredible accuracy, day or night. The solar panel setup is super convenient, and the app makes it easy to keep an eye on things wherever you are. Whether it’s for home protection or just monitoring your surroundings, this is a must have. Reliable, sharp image quality, and effortless to set up. I couldn’t be happier!

Awesome bit of kit for the price. Great picture day or night, good tracking abilities and charges and holds charge well. I bought a 2nd one as the 1st was so good.

Not great on WiFi won't connect over 20 meter, but looks good

Installation ultra facile grâce au panneau solaire, pas besoin d’électricité. L’image 2K est très nette et le suivi automatique fonctionne vraiment bien. Le PTZ 360° couvre toute la zone et la vision nocturne est bluffante. Les notifications sont rapides et l’audio bidirectionnel pratique pour échanger avec un livreur ou dissuader. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande pour sécuriser facilement son extérieur !

Die Cam ist einer der besten . Installation ist kinderleicht und schnell. Sehr robust und schnell zu installieren. Die Bilder sind klar und werden zügig übermittelt. Die Cam verfolgt die Person und lässt keinen Winkel aus. Ich habe die Cam am Strom angeschlossen um keine Ausfälle zu haben . Klare Kaufempfehlung! Würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen!
