I have a great routine for keeping my nails looking good. First, I take a cuticle cutter and with DRY hands, I snip off all the dry skin. Then I take a black rough-grain nail file and file the sides and the nail bed near the cuticle; this helps to smooth the skin and nail bed. Then I follow up with the white square nail file with finer grain and go over the nail and the skin around it. This really smooths everything and prepares it for the nail buff and shine. My nails are always nice and the cuticle is always trimmed and smooth. I am hard on my nails so I don't want to bother with a manicure and I save money. I love this smoothing and shining buffer!

It does a good job shining up bare nails, providing your nails are smooth, which if not, just gently file the surface if you've got nail ridges. Then buff away until they shine as if they have a clear top coat applied and they're dazzling 😉😊 & you're sufficiently satisfied!Then, if you want, go ahead & apply a clear top coat 😃

I’ve tried these types of buffers in the past and none work as well as this one. It literally takes a few seconds to buff your nail, and then make it shine like it has clear polish on it. I can tell that the green side will wear out over time but the package comes with two. I have some deep ridges on a few of my nails, and this completely eliminated them.

I was looking for something to smooth down nail ridges. As another reviewer said, this is not the one. It’s a fine product and I’m amazed by how shiny the 4000 side gets the nails… but it only enhances the ridges I was trying to get rid of. I’ve learned that I need a coarser grit and am going to add that to my kit. I’ll keep these too.

Very good product

This is a great little buffer, for that thin layer of cuticle that sometimes grows out unevenly with the nail, this buffer works great on without taking off a lot of nail material. I will be definitely buying more when these wear out.

Each pack came with four period. They were a little on the disposable side. I wouldn’t expect to get more than one before uses out of each one, but they work for stockers.
