Just the right level of heat
Having lived in Japan I know that their definition of “hot” is different than those of us living in Texas! This is the right level of heat for me, and I really enjoy the flavor as well.

Outstanding.
Love this stuff. Takes me back over 50 years to when I was stationed in Japan. Not really extra hot, but extra good. I still added a bit of Cholula to get heat up.

Extra hot
I raised my kids to look forward to a Japanese curry meal, whether it’s homemade or store bought. My husband and son like it spicy, so I’m glad to have access to Extra Hot because usually I can only find it at Hmart, which I can’t always find the time to drive the 20-30 minutes to. It’s not too spicy to where you can’t enjoy it, but enough to make you sweat a little!

Yummy Easy Curry
delicious! I just wish these came in multi-packs. One is enough for two to have decent-sized portions served over rice with pan-fried chicken. For being marked extra-hot I was surprised that this was rather tame. Same nostalgic S&B Japanese curry flavor. This ready-to heat pouch was so fast compared to the brick format.

Great taste
Its already made ready to serve(but still you can use it as base to make more) for his spicy level is strange it not burn you mouth but after eat you sweat a lot so its spicy indeed.

Hot?
Golden Curry will always be delicious to me. But having tried mild, medium, hot, and extra hot... I can't really tell one spice level from another. When seems bizarre, because Korea is next door, and those folks ABSOLUTELY understand "mild, medium, hot, and extra hot". And it can't be this particular batch because I've bought Golden Curry Extra Hot from Asian markets and it's not hot there, either. So while this makes the same delicious Japanese curry you expect, just doesn't expect it to be spicy AT ALL.
