Hoover TE70TE12001 Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner with Variable Power, Plastic, 700 W, Red and White [Energy Class A]

So far so good. I read the reviews! This is a very good little hoover for the price. Does a really thorough job, suction excellent. Hope it lasts. Would recommend no probs. I don’t have a pet so just normal grot on the carpet is dealt with v efficiently. Nice clean smell from the filter. I don’t have carpeted stairs so can’t comment. However with all the extra attachments I would imagine it does a great job. No frills just a v good hoover.

I purchased this hoover vacumn cleaner from amazon at a great price..it is very robust,beautifully designed and most important feature is it's power capability..it is small in size so it's easily stored..overall i'm impressed with it and am very happy with the price i paid for it...

I was looking for a low cost, no frills hoover for a house with mostly hard floors and this does a great job. It's light enough to carry in one hand while you hoover with the other. The suction is great and the bags are easy to change and less messy then a bagless system. The tools are carried in the body and easy to get to and the cord is long enough to do an entire floor of my 2 bed terrace.

I am so impressed with this Hoover. I would highly recommend.It is compact & easy to store, yet it is amazingly powerful. (In fact almost lifted my lino up, until I adjusted it !) All the extra attachments, including crevice tool are stored inside the hoover body itself, so handy & all great to use. The lead is plenty long enough, allowing ease of movement for larger areas, & it's great that it retracts back into the hoover by pressing the button at the front.I have been hoovering for decades so I know what to look for (I hope!) & I can honestly say that this is probably one of the best hoovers that I have had.

Still trying to loosen connections. So worried I'll snap something.. No spare bags included. Suction is good through.

Love it, love way tools are all accessible in body of hoover and suction is so good on both hard floors and carpets, need to adjust power and suction level on handle for floor attachment to use on carpet, but just by not going against grain of carpet lifts all hairs and dust and leaves carpet looking good, ,love fact I can just bin bag when full and don't need to touch dirt or filters to clean, so lightweight and easy to use, best buy ever, beats all of those bagless vacuum cleaners hands down

I would have given this vacuum 3.5 stars if I could as I feel four is a bit generous. It looks nice and is light and easy to store plus I like the on-board tools. There is not a great range but enough for me. The suction power appears to be strong - in fact, it lifts the carpets if I'm not careful - but weirdly it doesn't seem very good at actually picking up the dirt. It is also much better on hard floors than carpet, which is annoying as most of my house is carpeted. Other things I don't like are that the hose regularly slips out of the handle because there is no clip to hold it in. Similarly, the tools just push on and are quite hard to get on/off. On the plus side, the lead is long and the machine is fairly quiet. Also the bags are easy to change and hold a lot of dirt. All in all, a reasonable budget buy but room for improvement.

If not for the fact that this hoover doesn't go forwards easily on rugs/carpet it would be absolutely great. I saw some reviews saying this & should have paid more attention to them. Otherwise it's good value for the price, nice & lightweight & with the exception of this issue would be perfect.
