I genuinely love the echo products. The speaker quality is awesome. My son uses this all the time even though I bought it for my wife. Super easy to use, nicely sized and the color is nice too. Functions perfectly without any issues. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good quality speaker or for a smart speaker.

Bear with me here. I have bought 3 different refurbished products off Amazon. 1 a vacuum I am extremely happy with. Number 3 a coffee maker did not work at all. #2 is this Alexa dot. I love the features of this product. I bought some smart plugs to use with it, great things. It will keep a grocery list, to do list, tell me interesting facts. But this product, the dot, is still defective. It will shut off in the middle of responding to me...no reason, it just quits. I love the are you smarter than a 5th grader game you can play for free, but right in the middle of the game it will just quit....very frustrating, especially if you are winning. I didn't get it set up in time and know it still had issues despite being "refurbished" in time to return it, so I am stuck. If you are thinking about getting one, I say get one, they are a lot of fun, and useful. Not recommended to get any refurbished products though, my confidence in their refurbished items is now at zero. Otherwise would have given 5 stars
