Used in my carport
I love this! Couldn’t be happier with it. I needed it for my toddler who needs a feeling of being secure but doesn’t need to fully be secure if that makes sense. I still left an opening for us to get in and out but it helps keep my toddler in the carport much better than before! Used zip ties to hold it up.

Kid tested, parent approved.
The media could not be loaded. Kidkusion 30 ft Non Retractable driveway fence.I purchased this fence because we live on a hill and basketballs were constantly rolling down the street. Retrieving them was exhausting.-The fencing is an orange mesh with slots on the end to put metal poles through.-It comes with two pieces of PVC pipe to hammer into the ground.-I had to use a hand saw to trim the PVC pipe because it wouldn't hammer all the way into the ground. Southern California has very rocky terrain. This did not create a problem with the install. The PVC needs to be level with the ground so that the fence touches the ground, and shorter PVC still creates the desired effect.-Once the PVC is secured and level with the ground, the poles are inserted into the PVC.-We tested it and if the net is taut the balls go right under it. So, we installed it with a bit of a drag so that the balls wouldn't roll under.-The down side of the drag is: It makes the net shorter which means if there is an airborne ball it goes right over and down the street. Which also means, even if the ball hits the upper half of the net with enough force, the ball launches over it and rolls down the street.-That being said, it catches the ball about 85% of the time, which makes it totally worth the purchase.-Taking it down is a cinch. It rolls right up and goes in the garage.-It comes with plastic caps to fit over the PVC pipes when not in use.-Overall, this is a good product. It could be easily imitated by going to Home Depot and getting all the parts, but why bother when it is a reasonable price and so easy to install.

Love the design!
It will work great to block our long driveway that drops off into a bottom field. Will be glad not to have to chase balls from the 2 year old anymore. We just need a larger size! Thankful they have this as an option!

Meh
This thing does still give me piece of mind that my kids won’t keep rolling down the driveway into the road when playing with trikes and scooters. It will def stop a rolling ball or toy too. That said, it’s super flimsy and doesn’t stand fully upright. Also, while trying to install the PVC pipe in the ground it filled with too much dirt and when I tried to tap it out on the grass the whole bottom splintered off. I could still install it.Also, it’s absurd to roll this thing back up each time. I guess I assumed it would roll back like a retractable baby gate but it does not. It ends up tossed on the grass and since it’s so long it’s not neat looking. You could always pull both sides out and put it away but what a pain!

Great solution to a sloped driveway on a busy road
This was the perfect solution for our driveway which is flat at the top but then slopes toward a semi busy road. It makes a boundary so the kids can't get too close to the road when riding bikes or running and stops balls when they are playing basketball. Some balls do manage to get over or around the net so a little taller would be nice but overall we are completely pleased with this net. We picked up an extra 24" piece of 3/4" pvc and cut it in half to make a second spot where we can use the poles - one halfway down our driveway and one closer to the end- and put the net where it works best for whatever activity the kids are doing. The 30' net is perfect for our 28' wide driveway and set up at the beginning and rolling up when finished take about 3 minutes each. Initial installation took less than ten minutes and required only a hammer or mallet. I was afraid it would be annoying without the automatically retracting version but I think this is actually better as there is nothing that can break or go wrong with it and rolling it up is easy.

Not worth the money
Cheap. Not really retractable. Very disappointed. Waste of money

Non-traditional usage but still works great...
Backstory: we have 5 sons and a basketball hoop in the back yard. We also have a 6' wooden fence bordering us and the neighbors behind us. That said, basketballs go over the fence 2-3 times a day and it's frustrating enough for us and I'm sure even worse for our neighbors. We knew something had to go above the fencing to stop this from happening again.I was going to order a volleyball net at first until I came across this "retractable driveway fence". I noticed one of the reviewers had the same problem so I figured to give it a try.Below is what I used, as far as tools and additional supplies, to make it work. It took under an hour to put it up once I got everything, that I didn't already have, from Home Depot.
