Maker Source by Micro-Mark 24 Colors Basic Paint Set

So, I 've been using acrylic paints for a while now,and I 've tried a bunch of different brands. I recently got the Makersource basic 24-color acrylic paint set, and I'm really impressed with it. The colors are really vibrant and true to life. I mean, I 've seen acrylic paints that are just kind of average, but these colors are bright and true. They 're highly pigmented, and they blend really well together. The viscosity is nice and thick and has lots of body. The paint is bold and opaque for good coverage.The brushes are also high-quality, and they're soft and flexible. They're also the ideal sizes for different painting techniques and needs. I already have a lot of brushes but these three are a nice addition.I especially like that the paints are non-toxic and I can let my kids use these paints without worry.The set is really affordable and overall, I highly recommend the Makersource basic 24-color acrylic paint set. It's perfect for both beginners and experienced artists, and it's an inexpensive way to get started with acrylic painting. It's a great value for the price.

Exactly what I wanted!

The paints aren't the best in the world, but they are good for a casual painting session.I am a bit concerned about how there's multiple versions of some colors. The majority of the colors are basically red, blue, green, yellow. Which probably wouldn't be that much of a deal if there were a larger pallet, but when you have 24 colors and they boil down to mostly just 4, it is a bit disappointing.The paints are also a bit thicker than I'd expect. But a touch of water can help with that.Overall, it's a good set for beginners.

This set has a nice selection of colors. You would definitely need to use more than one coat for decent coverage though.

I ordered these paints to use for dot mandala painting. They are far too thick for that purpose, but I will use them for some other projects. There was a nice mix of colors in the set, and they were easy enough to mix together for even more variety. There is a paper seal on the top of each bottle and the paint seems to stick to it and pop out of the bottle when removed. That was unexpected and a little annoying. Other than that, it's a nice enough set of basic acrylic paints.

I think this is beginner/kid level acrylic paint but it does have a nice variety of color. I tested it on paper and it blends well and covers fairly well. You can layer it and even texture it a little bit. It does dry to a matte finish. I don't think it is "premium" as stated on the box, but for the price it is even less expensive that the craft paint from Wal-Mart and I think the quality is better. What I didn't like is that when I peeled the protective cover off of each bottle, about an eighth of the paint gushed out of the top. I thought it might be a fluke but it happened on every single bottle. So beware when you open these. I plan to use the paint for my adult craft class so it's fine that the quality is so so. They will still enjoy it.

This is a great set for anyone who just wants to get started painting or who crafts.

My kids absolutely adore painting and this is a great solution for messy days... All that makes a messy house! (Just my kids?) Anyway, this is a great little pack with lots of colors and a set of brushes to add to your collection. These seem to be easy to handle so far and dry quickly and that's what I appreciate.You get good coverage and there are enough choices that generally stop fighting between two siblings who want the same thing! They come in and start a little box which is great to pack back into. When you're done. They wash up off of hands and the table pretty easily and I'm thankful for that as well. Overall, great tied to your crafting (keep your kids busy ) box collection.
