Everything you need in a headphone amp for a great price
I got this little amp about 4 months ago and I've been using it with a pair of Logitech G Pro X headphones. When I got them, they were restrained by the output of my phone or the little DAC they came with. I got this amplifier and it has really brought out the potential of these cans. One of the first things I listened to was some Hans Zimmer and the experience was incredible, with the additional volume and depth this amplifier adds. I am not an expert when it comes to this particular niche, but I am a lover of good, loud music and if it's good enough for me, this amp is good enough for 99% of folks out there. The amplifier is about 2/3 the size of your average smartphone, albeit a bit thicker. The case is painted metal; it has spent a bit of time in my backpack and pocket and so far, the finish has held up very well. It has also survived a few drops, it still functions properly and looks no worse for the wear. The knob has a heavy detent when clicking the amplifier on, and rotates smoothly with a confident amount of resistance. The connectors hold the 3.5mm cables in place firmly and have a satisfying snap into place. There is a small switch for going between low and high-level inputs which I have not had the chance to play with. Around the back of the amp is a charging port with a small indicator LED to tell you when it is full or charging. The MicroUSB connector (Sorry, no Type C) isn't showing any signs of fatigue yet and still holds the connector tightly. I am always dubious of stated battery capacity claims, but regardless of the ratings, I'll say I've used it for 6+ hours while flying cross-country and on layovers, without it dying on me. I haven't run it dry in the field yet.My sole complaint is the included 3.5mm cable. It was too small to fit tightly in my other devices and would not work properly unless pressed. This was not an issue for me, though, as I used cables I already had on hand. If you need a cable to connect the amplifier to the source, I would recommend throwing one of those in your cart also.Overall, for the money, this little guy is a great item. When I purchased it, I figured eh, why not? This is gift card money and if it breaks, I'm out $30. I am happy to report that this was not money wasted. If you have a set of headphones you want to unlock more potential from, but don't want to spend big money, the Neoteck is for you.

WAY more Powerful than Fosi DS2 at HALF the price!
Before getting this NeoTeck DAC amp, I first purchased the Fosi DS2 USB-C headphone amp to help drive signal from my HiBy R3ii DAP to some Edifier STAX 3 planar magnetic headphones. I was deeply disappointed! The Fosi didn’t seem to do a thing to enhance the listening experience. After doing some research I learned that the Fosi DAC Amp only puts out 128mW at 26-32 Ohms (over 3.5mm unbalanced output). So I returned that and picked up the Neoteck Portable battery powered headphone Amp which is rated at 250mW over 3.5mm outs. The difference was quite noticeable and I’m very pleased with this amp. It truly brings out the rich texture and full sound of the Edifiers STAX 3 at HALF THE PRICE!! Now, I'm not the audiophile who can comment on the sound qualities of the DAC itself but I know my HiBy DAP (playing strictly FLAC files) should play beautiful CD quality sounding music that is supposed to be more faithfully portrayed by my planar magnetic headphones. But it's only after I started using them with this NeoTeck amp that I KNOW I'm hearing everything I should. Power makes a difference.

Solid little amp. Very Compact
This is an initial out of the box review done by a pro-audio technician of 40+ yrs experience. That said, It's still IMHO.Received product and charged up. The unit appears well built and the cords are seem very adequate with nice spring strain reliefs. My sound comparsion was done using my new:[OneOdio Adapter-free Closed Back Over-Ear DJ Stereo Monitor Headphones, Professional Studio Monitor & Mixing, Telescopic Arms with Scale, Newest 50mm Neodymium Drivers- Glossy Finsh] For the sound test, I tested using the following broad range of music and sounds;1. Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30-Richard Strauss; Excellent & Accurate.2.Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, Just like I was there. Nice crisp highs and great low frequency.3. AC/DC, Thunderstruck & Shoot to Thrill; Oh Yeah.....4. ABBA Yep, sounds great.5. Paranoid both GFR and BS versions, No disappointments here either.6. Lynyrd Skynyrd- Simple Man & Free Bird - Lets face it, it would take an Awfull headphone to ruin these. That said, Front row experience.7. IRON BUTTERFLY IN- A-GADDA-DA-VIDA, Rock ON!!I evaluated the above without the amplifier and then with. Overall, I am pleased. It does add a more "full body" listening experience. The amplification is clean and quiet. No clipping at high levels (on my headphones). Definately a good purchase for the hearing impaired. They will make good headphones sound better and Studio Grade headphones sound great. THEY WILL NOT make cheapies sound better, just louder. IMPORTANT NOTE; Using these on a headphones with smaller drivers (30mm or less) will overdrive them at higher volume levels. This amp shines best with 40 to 50mm studio grade headphones. I wouldn't spend anymore than I did though. No regrets on what I did spend and do recommend them.EDIT: There are some music selections where the amp will make the BASS sound overdriven. Most noteable is: The Island - My Name is Lincoln Extended. The drums overly BOOM.ALSO; The amp doesn't have "pass through" sound. When the switch is off, kills all sound. Should've been easy to engineer them to do this where if the battery dies, you can still listen barefoot. This is my 1 star deduction,

WOW it is great
WOW this is amazing. I was getting ready to throw out my new headphones because of poor sound quality. I bought this amplifier to see if it would help. Boy did it ever! The sound went from soft and muddled to high fidelity sound. Nature sounds were like I was there. My hearing loss suddenly didn't matter. This little pocket-sized amplifier worked perfectly. Five plus stars.
