I was undecided about purchasing this product as I’d seen a reversing camera that was solar powered that needed no connections to the car. The deciding factor was when this item was on special offer, meaning that it was half the price of the alternative. I’m glad I purchased the Vastend V02 as it produces an excellent picture and was quite easy to fit to my Insignia. I tested before installing and on powering up produced a bright, sharp picture straight away with no need for pairing. Getting the camera wires into my car was an issue so I connected to the number plate light, which was very easy. The added bonus is that I can use the camera without having to select the reverse gear, just switching on the lights as needed. I had to read the instruction guide a couple of times before I worked out how to adjust the guidelines – press button 3 to select H (Height), W (Width) or M (Middle alignment), then button 1 to adjust. Overall, a very good product for the money and a great aid to reversing safely as the camera has a wide angle of view.

Once decided where to install, it was easy to use. Downside Qcode instructions not same unit and not clear on wireing. So dropped a star on that. Also if you don't want to drill your bumper it can be difficult to fit in the right place. I have a freelander2 and the tailgate sits back from the bumper, made it hard to see tow ball. I made a longer bracket which worked fine. Hitched up first time. Picture on screen crystal clear.

I bought this to replace a much more expensive camera which only worked when reversing. This camera, while taking longer to install on my VW camper than I thought, (the wires needing soldering to the rear number plate light), gives me a constant clear wide-angle view of the road behind, even better than the rear view mirror. It turns on or off at the press of a button. Early days yet (I only installed it recently) but I am more than pleased with it so far.

This is easy to install and the picture quality is amazing. Pictures show installation on a Freelander. Once fitted to number plate, wires pass through pre-drilled number plate fixing hole (number plate fixed with double sided sticky pads) and wires run up through tailgate and then down to light cluster where I picked up the feed for the reversing light & 0V. Great value for money.

I purchased this reversing camera to fit on our motorhome as a replacement. The screen is good and the picture is clear. The camera is cheap as is the mounting bracket. The screen has a rigid black plastic covered antenna, however the camera has a thin wire antenna which needs taping to the vehicle above the camera, or concealing somehow. The system works OK, but is definitely a budget option. Time will tell if it is robust enough for the job.

Had it fitted and when the van isn't running the camera works all LEDs are on, soon as the engine starts the signal is lost but all LEDs are still on so camera has power but sending no signal, the company are just saying there's no power but there is power, I wouldn't buy if I knew the trouble this was going to cause and 4 hours trying to sort it out. Update. .. I received a message from the seller saying it's because the van sends pulse messages to the back of the van to check the trailer is ok which is causing interference and blocking the signal, what on earth is that rubbish all about it's a transit van, do yourself a favour and buy a proper one that's hard wired or you'll regret it soon.

Es muy buena cámara y funciona fenomenal. Sencillo de instalar y un año después funciona como la seda. Solo una recomendación y es que estaría bien una salida RCA en la pantalla para integrarla opcionalmente con pantallas Android.

The product arrived quickly, everything was well described in the instructions, everything needed for installation was included and the complete system worked the first time I tried it. It took some time to find the cable for the reverse lamp on my 2012 Dacia Duster (the cable is well hidden in the rear light assembly). The communication between the camera and the display takes a few seconds for the camera to register: thereafter the communication is rapid and the color picture quality is excellent, both in daylight and at night. In the picture, the brick wall behind the car is 50 cm from the rear bumper. The distortion for objects further away is less, so that it is simple to back into a parking spot. The angle of the colored indicators is adjustable via a side button on the display, as is the orientation of the image. Everything works as advertised. I would definitely recommend this system and would buy it again if I needed another.

Retrocamera efficiente di facile installazione, visuale dal monitor di qualità, comoda per il wyfi in quanto non necessita di portare la connessione tra retrocamera e monitor dal bagagliaio al cruscotto dell’auto. Venditore consigliato.

La seule difficulté c'est de fixer "proprement" la caméra dans la calandre (installé la caméra à l'avant) et passer les fils pour alimenter la caméra. Tout le reste, c'est "finger in the noze" . La qualité de l'image est irréprochable et la connexion se fait très rapidement lors de la mise sous tension (contact). La prise de l'allume est trés pratique car elle permet de mettre en marche ou à l'arret l'écran. Je recommande ce produit
