this one is no good. Trust me
Buy a different model, this one is no good. Trust me, I regret it.How long have I had it: nearly 12 months.Laces: they're all threaded in through s metal loop, hard to tighten up boot and loosen it up after.(ankle and above part should've been hooks instead of metal loops)Rubber: thick and sturdy, this thing won't break into your feet, your feet with rub and rub against the rubber walls until your feet is broken in.Foot pursuits: you don't really pay attention to it, adrenaline kicks in.Foot patrols: don't do it! You'll regret it, the amount of pain you'll be in afterwards is not worth it.Waterproof: yup water proof, breathing proof, cooking your foot inside like an oven.Would I buy this again: no chance, I'll get Walmart boots instead if this was the only available model.

Uncomfortable
The material is as rough as if it was made out of wood. The steep of the toes are not high enough for a comfortable wear. It causes extreme pain on my toes. I stopped wearing them a long time ago. 5 years ago these boots were $350. I consider it as a wasted money. I bought the Belleville and they are awesomely comfortable, much lighter on my feet and merely half of the price of the Haix P7. I would gladly give them away if anyone who wants them. They are still in their brand new condition. I barely wore them a week or so. And I’m only size 10. They call it a German engineering, but it fits worst than any boots I’ve ever wore. It’s not a BMW for sure.

HAIX for all first responders and law enforcement!
The quality of these boots are astronomical. I am literally on my feet 7.5 hours out of a 8 hour day. Outside in the rain, snow, and heat. None of these elements play a factor on the temperature of your feet. Normally, as an Officer, I tend to get side zip boots for ease of taking on and off. The shoelaces have a innovative design that helps you lace your boot quickly. (At the ankle, the laces can be locked.) This leaves you the ability to lace your shoes as tight, or loose as you wish fron the ankle up without compromising the effectiveness of your fit. Might I add, they look pretty tough too.

I've only had them for a month and the bottom sole popped the air out.
