Woder 10k-FRM-DC Fluoride Filter deserves 5 stars with no doubt in mind from me. I totally recommend this filter to everyone who is looking for a filter for drinking water ,or thinking about switching from previous one that needs to refill, or anyone that still purchasing drinking water from store. First thing I want to tell is the taste is so good and the water clear. I used a different filter, gave me a piece of mind the water filered, but I prefer this one for so many reasons. More than that, thanks for all the follow up to ensure from before and after I receive the system like receive the filter as expected, emails instructions to install. The delivery came earlier and the filter is ready for install by following step by step instruction in the book. In the box it has one filter, one booklet and two crews. unless you prefer a different way or need to add a separate drinking fauset or other configuration, you need to buy more parts to complete your desired setup. That's what I did. I am using a separate drinking fauset so my wife and friends dont feel drinking from tap water. More over, I like this filter provides many gallons like as much as 5k gallons which I can't tell for now. it will last for one to two years, not just a couple months, it means save more money and less hassle to change filters. All this is true to another model Woder 10K-Gen3 except it doesn't filter floride away like this Woder FRM-DC. If you need a new drinking water filter, try this one. It's so simple to set up unless you need a separate drinking fauset, you need to buy a one- in- two- out adapter, and kit includes connectors and tube matching your new drinking fauset size. All probably less than $15 (not include fauset) and add whatever style of fauset one's like. I am happy with this filter!Ok I forget to mention one small thing that The Woder 10K FRM forgot to add two scews in the box. I could not find it anywhere inside, unlike Woder 10K-Gen3 comes with two screws inside to hang the system. The Woder 10K-FRM-DC Fluoride system has two filters, one is 10k and the other one is only 5k (the Fluoride one). One is half of the other, so one needs to be replaced first unless there's a reason Woder says need to replace both. For now i just enjoy the new filter water first....

Not too long ago (about 4 months ago) I purchased a CRYSTAL QUEST® Undersink Replaceable Triple Fluoride Water Filter System because Dr Mercola had recommended it. Well, that endorsement alone made me go against my better judgment even after reading through many of the warnings here on Amazon (under that particular product) in both the Reviews & the Question sections, especially when reviewers were complaining about leakage with the Crystal Quest units & their use of cheapie plastic fittings & such. My husband even tried to use one of the work-arounds that some reviewer over there had recommended, & to no avail. The Crystal Quest (CQ) unit continued to leak...It's no fun having to leave out half your things that you normally store underneath your sink cuz you've got pans & such catching the dripping water. SO...we decided to contact the seller & ask for a refund, which meant we had the cumbersome task of unmounting the filtration system AND the sink-mounted water dispenser/faucet that came with the CQ, & send it back for a refund from the Amazon sellers, which we are happy to report, they DID refund us our money. (Sure glad my husband is a contractor & knows how to install such things cuz we'd be out of the money spent on hiring a plumber to do this kind of work!)So...it was back to the "drawing board" AGAIN in our QUEST to find a good, AFFORDABLE, PATHOGENS & FLUORIDE-REMOVING, MINERALS-KEEPING water filtration system... I had had the Woder already on one of my Amazon wish lists, but when I saw the cheaper price of the CQ unit, & then the endorsement of a well-known health-conscious medical doctor (Dr Mercola), I thought the CQ was a better deal over all, b/c after all, it DID come WITH a faucet/dispenser....HOWEVER (& that's a BIG "HOWEVER"!!), we were sadly disappointed with it. The old adage rings true once again: "ya get what ya pay for".So, back to my story.... I FINALLY convinced my hubby to try this WONDERFUL, WOODER-FUL, WODER WATER FILTRATION UNIT. (Now try saying THAT 5 TIMES FAST without getting your tongue all twisted up & feeling like a WODER-idiculous toddler!!....on an aside, the whole Woder Wooder Woderful thing has become an inside joke to our family cuz at the beginning, my hubby kept mispronouncing the name & it came out sounding like "wood-er" with a long double O sound like as in "groove"...LOL... So, now since installing & using our WOODER-FUL Woder the name's tossed around like cRaZy & we have such fun with it!)Missing the CQ's water dispenser faucet, we decided to purchase a Dyconn Faucet DYRO633-BN Drinking Water Faucet for RO Filtration System, Brushed Nickel right here off of Amazon. BEST DARN COMBO EVER IMO!! Sorta like the Dynamic Duo!! LOLA BIG PRO is that the Woder takes a THIRD of the space that the CQ brand did!! A major PLUS in my book, especially when you're limited for space as it is underneath your sink.We have been SO WELL PLEASED with our purchase we are WODER-FULLY ecstatic!! We have even tapped into it by splitting the water outtake line & using it as our water filter for our refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser. In a municipal water supplied suburb of Los Angeles, I can't tell you how YUMMY our WODER WATER tastes now!! I wish I could give this an extra star...it's THAT GOOD!

We purchased the Woder FRM fluoride water filter because our city (San Diego) includes fluoride in the water. After reviewing many different filters, we chose the Woder FRM. It is a double filter that filters fluoride as well as other harmful elements in the water. The product description shares all the good information. The Woder FRM filter does have 3/8” compression fittings, which does require the water source and faucet fittings to also have 3/8” compression fittings. So, we replaced our 1/4” in-line water faucet with the KES faucet that comes with the 3/8” fitting, and it all came together easily and effortlessly. There were concerns of reduced water flow due to there being two filter cartridges, but actually, the flow is ideal for an in-line drinking water faucet. The water tastes great, too. We are very happy with this purchase.

Worked fine for over three years, then a few days ago hear a load bang from the kitchen. Turned out the housing for one of the filters broke off the base, water everywhere in the kitchen. See pictures.
