Gohepi Ink Cartridges for HP 364XL 2 Schwarz/Cyan/Magenta/Gelb

The last 2 types of non-HP inks I tried did not last long, including Amazon Basics (which cost more than these). So I was wary of doing the same thing again!My printer had completely stopped printing black. I guessed it was because the black ink had run out.I don't use my printer much so rather than try and find the best 'fake' cartridges I'd buy the cheapest ones I could find, these ones. If they at least worked for a while it would be fine.These cartridges installed OK with no leaking ink as I handled them (which I had experienced with previous on-HP cartridges).But... the black still didn't work. This pack came with two black cartridges so I tried the 2nd one. It didn't work either.To cut a long story short I discovered that the channel or nozzle which leads from the cartridge to the print head was all gunked up. I found some youtube videos that showed how to take the HP364 print head out of the printer and soak it in cleaning solution (alcohol). That didn't work. Then I found more tips that showed blasting cleaning solution through the nozzle with a syringe. Yay! That did the trick. All colours now working fine. So, if you install new cartridges (even non-HP ones) and some colours still don't work then it may not be the cartridges, it may be the print head is blocked. The print head is not supposed to be user serviceable, but YouTube disagrees! One tip though... wear latex gloves if you're going to attempt to clean the print head!To test the inks properly I printed a load of photos at the highest quality settings on HP premium photo paper and the quality was pretty good. There was a bit of banding as you can see in the photo-of-a-photo I've added to this review. Although that's likely to be my printer as much as the ink. I did blast water through the print head at excessive pressure when I cleaned it so may well have damaged the head a bit.For now, I'm giving 5 stars as the print quality is good, Should the quality take a turn for the worse or the cartridges not last long I'll come back and revise my rating. But for the price, if they last me a hundred or so prints over the next 6 months I'll be happy.

So the first black cartridge out of the box wouldn't work. Followed all the instructions, cycled the printer, cleaned the chip with alcohol (wonder how many people have industrial alcohol around the place) still not working. The second one worked fine. The reason for the one star is I want a replacement single cartridge, I don't want to have to return the whole lot and be left inkless. You used to be able to contact amazon but not any more it seems. So one star for the bad cartridge and one star for Amazon who seem to be going backwards in terms of service.Update, the kind people from Gohepi contacted me and sent a replacement and the cartridges work well

I dread to think how much I have wasted on Genuine Ink Jet Cartridges over the years. Every time the printer went my heart sank.If only I had discovered these I would have saved so much money. I popped them in just like normal. The printer said are you sure and I pressed Yes and then did the print head clean to get the ink flowing properly.Several weeks in and they are still working flawlessly. The print quality is excellent; and when the printer goes, I no longer panic!In the old days compatibles had a bad reputation - I speak from experience - but no longer. This is amazing. What a find!

Ink is a good as the brand. But for some reasons I have to start my printer twice before it works... can b an issue with my printer but I think it’s because the ink isn’t the original one.For the money I am saving in ink, I DON’T CARE! I will restart the printer 5 times if I need to 😊😅

Ink and cartridges work fine, drop one star for the dire warnings my printer is giving me about using non genuine ink leading to the world exploding in the near future, though that is more an HP issue than the ink suppliers.

Good value XL cartridges. You can see the actual ink levels in the transparent casings. I have had some ink smear with the cyan that has taken quite a bit of cleaning through the printer software. The Black is nice and bold.

I have started using these cartridges without any problem. They do not register on the automatic ink level monitor on the printer or its software, but that's ok as they are transparent cartridges through which the ink can easily be seen. Printing standards (for documents) are as good as anything I've used yet these are much cheaper than HP. Will buy again.

Was in desperate need of replacement cartridges. Although these cartridges aren't HP, they do the job just as well. Only got an alert indicating they weren't HP cartridges but no problem at all printing. These cartridges work just as well as actual HP types. I'd order them again and if you need some excellent replacements, these are the ones.
