Angel Answers Pocket Oracle Cards: A 44-Card Deck and Guidebook Cards – September 19, 2023

I love this deck. The artwork is very pretty, and the individual cards are more unique than other oracle cards because they specifically indicate timeframes on the cards themselves such as "Within a few weeks", "A year from now" and "Within the next few months." This is very helpful when you want to plan for important events or get a sense of when is a good time to take action on something. Other cards in this deck that help with determining the appropriate time to act or not act include: "Take Action", "Not the right time", "Wait", "Choose a new direction", "Reconsider" and "You're Ready".Another plus of this deck is that it includes "Yes!" and "No!" cards that provide clear answers to questions in which you would like a "yes" or "no" response. The "Yes!" card affirms the decision or choice you are making is the right one and to proceed with your ideas or plans. The "No!" is a reminder that the decision you are considering is not recommended, which the angels assure you that you will understand why in time. Listening to this advice could prevent you from making a mistake or help you to avoid danger. In some situations, neither "yes" or "no" is the answer because sometimes we can experience the best possible outcome by trusting the angels guidance and allowing them to surprise us with the solution. The "Trust" card reflects this type of angel answer. There is also a card called "It's Up to You!" which reminds us that the outcome of your situation depends upon what you choose to do and does not require input from the angels or other people. Because this is an angel card deck, of course the angels recommend staying positive and being proactive about solving problems in order to ensure a happy result.This deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine may seem a bit simplistic in comparison to their more detailed Angel Tarot decks, but I often prefer to use the Angel Answers deck for quick readings. Sometimes I just want a simple yes or no response and not have to take extra time to interpret a more detailed tarot spread. This card deck is excellent for quick readings and also for providing clarification if you are unsure about the messages in your other tarot or oracle card readings. A tip for reading these cards: separate the "Yes" and "No" cards from the specific timeframe cards and the remaining "additional detail" cards into 3 different piles to receive more accurate responses.This angel deck does include some familiar phrases from Doreen's other decks but overall I found it to be more different than similar because of the cards that indicate a specific timeframe. I was looking for something like that for many years, and so was very glad that Radleigh and Doreen created this deck. Several people have commented that they don't like the artwork. I agree it is unusual, but I think the intention of the artist was to create an ethereal, otherworldly illustration of the angels surrounded by light rays and other characters in this card deck. After all, angels are light beings and may not actually look solid like we do!

This deck is the most accurate deck I own. I read the 2 most popular reviews & all I can say is “WHAT”? As for the cards NOT being of God- they didn’t read the booklet.(And wigi should be spelled Ouija- get it right before giving advise).It tells you right in the booklet to pray to GOD. There is NOTHING WRONG with asking questions in earnest, for yourself, as part of a prayer. This is exactly how I use it & it has NEVER given me a wrong answer- NEVER, NOT ONCE. Like everything else, if you abuse the deck, then of course it won’t be of God. Next-The second one about the colors of the cards- I’ve been over the book & any info I can find & NOTHING says anything about color coding. IF this is true- why did you leave out the color GREEN? I’m not saying the color coding isn’t true- just that I can’t find it anywhere & it is incomplete.I dont use a Ouija board as I do believe that opens a door that MOST can’t really handle. I DO use Tarot cards- mostly for myself, always in prayer, & always in EARNEST. Meaning, I open my heart in prayer. There are somethings I will not ask in a card session for someone else- I don’t ask things they don’t really want an answer to. Other readers do and that is perfect! Just not me. I respect the cards & the power they hold. I don’t use them simply for profit nor to gain a one up on someone.I know Doreen has walked away from making cards, but she was making cards with any theme, just for profit. They no longer held meaning as a tool & became a toy based on any subject you want.I say all that to say-I’ve used my deck for 3 years now & when used with your heart full of intention, they will NOT give you a wrong answer. It is VITAL you read the Angel Answers booklet EVERY TIME. You may think the card itself is cut & dry, but you will find a sentence or 2 in the book that will make you say WOW.Once you think you no longer need a deck book is the day cards stop working for you. They will NOT respond to arrogant energy. No matter how many years “experience” you have. As with everything else-READ EVERYTHING in the book. Educate yourself first & keep learning- you can never know enough. Never skip steps or cut corners. And practice every day- there is always someone better than you.This deck is great for beginners or veteran readers. Become proficient on yourself before using on other people.
