After dealing with flaking ember mugs a few times I decided it was time to go back to a good old heated plate since I didn't walk around with my mug as much as I thought I would. This unit is a little on the big side but it was still able to fit on my desk perfectly. I was skeptical of the infrared temp sensor but after 9 months of daily use, it has held up and works the same as day I received it.I purchased this with the flat bottomed mug but it works with other mugs as well, all it does is apply heat until the mug is at the desired temp so if you have one that makes full contact it should take less time to heat, more if the mug makes minimal contact with the plate.There is a small rubber bumper around the perimeter of the plate that could save you from small bumps of the mug but like any other plate like this, be careful of the hot plate itself. It does shut off on its own after I think 3 hours of use and will also shut off if there's nothing on the plate for awhile.I was looking at type-c hotplates but in the end chose to go with this which has a plug in and a 75w advertised power since electricity is electricity and I want my drinks hot. There are more affordable options out there for heating your mug but I got what I paid for with this one.

I had an Ember mug & it died 2 times - Ember was completely unresponsive (for months) when I contacted them, so I had to move on to something else. I love HOT coffee & HATE reheating in the Microwave :(I have tried a few other heating mugs & hot plates. I was SO disappointed in all of them. This was my last attempt at happy coffee..... IT IS AMAZING! keeps my coffee at the perfect temperature :) Easy to clean, automatic shut off LOVE LOVE LOVE

I never expected to be so girly in my 50s but I love that the dusty rose color matches my Logi keybord and mouse :) Even more, I love that this warmer not only keeps my drink "fairly warm" like the one I'm replacing, it will heat it back up to downright hot in minutes if I want it to! I thought I liked my coffee around 150 F but it turns out I do want it to cool down a bit, so I keep it at 125. If I wander off with my coffee and then bring it back to the warmer, it may be down to 100 or less by the time I put it back on the stand - which has been sleeping, waiting to sense that I put my cup back down - but it beeps right back to life and takes less than a minute to get it back up to 125.

This was a Christmas gift for my coffee-loving husband, who can be hard to buy for & quite picky. So I was thrilled when he loved this.He’s notorious for reheating his coffee over and over in the microwave through the day but this has solved that problem. His coffee stays hot regardless of how long it’s been since he poured it from the pot.He uses the mug it came with, as well as other ceramic mugs that we already had. It’s been working great for 6 months, even with nearly daily use.

I usually wait after six months before I review. That way I know how the product works. I’ve used this warmer for well over six months every single day and I can honestly say this is the best coffee warmer I have ever had. It works perfectly every single day. I’ve never had any troubles with it, and it keeps the coffee exact temperature that I want. The structure is really solid. The design is perfect and the coffee cup, and spoon that they give you seems to me to be an expensive coffee cup. I bought a second one for my bedroom. If I could give this more than five stars I would.

This is a very nice coffee warmer that works well. 135 degrees Fahrenheit is perfect for me. It also has a ceramic lid that does an excellent job of holding in the heat. My only problem is however with the lid. It is an accident waiting to happen because it has no knob to make it easy to remove and replace. Instead I am having to grab a hot ceramic lid with 4 fingers at the perimeter of a hot ceramic cup. Additionally, there is considerable 135 degree Fahrenheit condensation that collects on the inside of the lid that when removed runs through the spoon cutout on to the warming element, or digital screen or table as I hurriedly try to find a place to put the hot, dripping lid. There is no other way to remove the lid. I cannot imagine the problems it would cause at 150 or 175 degrees. The outside surface of the lid is slippery and hard to hold at any time, especially when hot and wet. At some point the lid is going to be dropped and broken. A small heatproof knob would solve the problems. Perhaps this is just a marketing strategy to sell a replacement cup, w/lid, which ikago also offers. Still I like the warmer & cup. I just wish the lid was more functional.

This product is great! Admittedly, when I first opened the gift, I, with tongue-in-cheek, said "Yay, a heated coaster". But, I loved after my first use. The temperature control is spot on, so it's not burning my coffee. I've stopped wasted time reheatung coffee or throwing it away. Very much worth the small investment. If you like a warm/hot drinks and don't want to feel rushee to drink them, but this. It's a great product!!

This has been and still is the BEST coffee warmer I have ever owned. You can set the temperature to whatever you preference is and the cup that comes with it. It is not some dinky little top. It’s a great size. It’s just all around a great warmer.
