Panasonic WhisperValue Ceiling/Wall Mount Bathroom Exhaust Fan, 50-80-100 CFM, FV-0510VS1

This thing is great! Whisper is correct, this thing is pretty quiet compared to my old bathroom exhaust fan. It is super effective at moving air from the shower, while not blasting my ears off. The light is surprisingly bright, but not too bright. I was a little wary of spending this much money, but I read prior reviews about Panasonic Bathroom Exhaust Fans so gave it a try. It is totally worth the investment since this is something you use everyday and helps keep your bathroom mold free. The installer had no issues with putting this in. It looks great in my bathroom. I would recommend this exhaust fan if you have been looking around and feel unsure about what to get. I don't think you would regret it!

This fan is impressively quiet while still moving a lot of air. It makes a huge difference in clearing steam from the bathroom after showers without being loud or distracting. Super quite compared to my old unit in place which was noisy, Installation was not that easy if you have space constranints but made it work other wise a great product, I paired it with auto turn on switch.... I wonder if I can pair it with in-wall humidity sensor switch without builtin humidity sensor so it turns on and off based on humidity in the bathroom. THe built in humidity sensor seem to adjust airflow based on the himidity but if you want to automatically turn on/off based on humidity you'll have to do that with an external wall mounted switch.....which is what I have setup I paired this exhaust with Lutron Decore In-wall humidity sensor switch so It turns on/off based on the humidity in the bathroom and the airflow fan speed is regulated by the inbuilt humidity sensor...not ideal but works almost as intended.

Nice fan. Quiet. Light works well enough. Little bit of a spot light, but I like the color temp of the light. Not a simple replacement fan. Unfortunately, fans with the cool bracket that fits between joists doesn’t come with a light. This one with the light mounts to the bottom of a joist. So I had to cut away a lot of drywall and patch. Hopefully this fan lasts a long time and I don’t have to go through that again any time soon. Still vastly better than the 20+ year old fan it replaces.

This ceiling fan is a perfect replacement to our old one. In addition, it is so quiet that it tooknme while to realize that it was on.

This is a two month post-purchase review. If you don't want to read my ramblings on this... it's a terrific fan! This was purchase for post construction and where was no fan in the bathroom. I have two teenagers (I also live in Florida) so the bathroom was beginning to take on some rather swampy characteristics that required bleach, kilz and new paint. I decided that i would use the humidity sensors AND hook the manual on/off switch. This has been a great solution for us anyhow. The fan is quiet and moves a LOT of air without making a lot of noise. The instructions did't seem too bad to me and I've never installed an exhaust fan. I did discover that when they build houses they will run the romex with as little slack as possible, so if this is a new install and you are splicing into an existing circuit like I did... get yourself two junction boxes at the home improvement store. The install didn't seem too bad to me. The fan is great, the bathroom mirrors don't get foggy or don't stay that way for long. I could question that the fan might seem to run longer than it needs to, but of the bathroom stays dry who am I to complain? When we redo the master bath it's getting a Panasonic fan with the humidity sensor as well.

My dad’s a contractor so I trusted his judgment when he told me to buy this exhaust fan for our bathroom—and he was so right. I didn’t realize how much we needed a replacement until we installed it. Total game changer! I take long and steamy showers so we need a very powerful exhaust fan and I feel like this clears the steam in just a few minutes. Our previous one was pretty loud and this one is truly whisper like quiet too so we do need to remember to check on the switch to make sure we turn it off once it has done its job! Highly recommend!
