Well made, accurate and lots of cool features
Packaging - the thermometer was well packaged and arrived in good condition. The box included the main thermometer unit, 4 color-coded temperature probes, 2 metal probe clips and a USB charging cable.Setup - the instructions were easy to understand and setup went well. I already had the Inkbird app on my phone, so all I had to do was add a new device and select the IBT-26S (5G) from the list. It easily connected to both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi via on-screen prompts.Device - the thermometer is heavy duty and well made. The screen is intuitive and easy to read. The base has a built-in magnet and a fold-out stand, making for easy placement. The 4 temperature probes are color-coded with metal braided wiring. It comes with 4 temperature probes but there are 5 probe ports for your food plus 1 additional port for an ambient temperature probe (not included). If you are using the base unit to read your temps instead of the app, the screen will alternate showing each active probe for a few seconds.App - I was particularly pleased with how easy the app was to set up. It automatically detects how many probes are plugged in to the base and activates those in the app. For each active probe, you can view the current temp, set target temps (by degree or by food type), set timers, configure alarms and view a graph of temperatures over time. This allows you to set up your required temperatures and monitor the progress of your cooking all from your phone.Test - after setting up the thermometer (which only took a couple minutes), I plugged in the 4 temperature probes and tested them against other thermometers. The temperatures were accurate and alarms sounded based on the high temps I had set.Real-world - I baked a chicken in the oven last night. Inserted the probe in the meat, set the target temp for 165 and waited for the alarm on my phone to sound while I watched TV. Couldn't be any easier and chicken was perfect.Summary - would highly recommend this thermometer. It really is set-it-and-forget-it. I recently bought a new pellet grill and can't wait to use it with that to do some low-and-slow smoking.Update - I used the thermometer this weekend while smoking some ribs on my new pellet grill (see pic). I was able to set my alerts and monitor it from inside. Worked perfect.

Easy to Use Wifi Thermometer
I just finished my first overnight cook on my pellet grill using the Inkbird wifi thermometer and it worked great. It only took a few minutes to download the app on my Android phone and get everything connected using wifi.I tested it for a few days just to see how reliable it is and how well it stays connected. All was well so then last night I put it to the test with an overnight brisket cook. I used 2 of the included probes, one for the temperature of the meat and one to sense the ambient temperature inside of the grill. The probes are small and it was easy to snake more than one through the hole on the side of my grill. The thermometer works well and the battery life is good. It can run plugged into a USB adapter or from the battery which has had no trouble running the thermometer for several days in my application. It is easy to set it to have an alarm for both over and under temperature. This is neat and it could save you if there is some kind of problem with the grill. The built in display is easy to read and having the magnet on the back side is a nice touch for easy mounting.I wish they had an application for my computer. That's about my only gripe. The one on the phone is simple and it works well so it isn't a deal breaker for me. Also being able to check the temperatures if the grill is running while I'm away is also a nice feature.

Great Versital Thermometer
I've been grilling and smoking meats for some time now and have used a variety of different thermometers both handheld and wireless. This is the first thermometer that I have used that has both Bluetooth and 5G WiFi and that is a game changer! I was previously using the Inkbird IBT-4XS and Thermoworks SmokePRo which are only Bluetooth or 2.4Ghz wireless. This IBT-26S 5G is now a major step up to both of those!Build Quality: This is a very well built device with a premium look. There is a magnetic back to the unit so it easily attached to a smoker, grill, fridge, etc. There is also a nice little kickstand to tilt the unit up for a different viewing angle. The unit comes with 4 probes that have color coded aluminum grips to them. I like this feel and build much better then the rubber grips other thermometers have used. This unit is also rain proof which is a huge advantage when doing longer cooks. No more worries about bad weather cooks!Connectivity/Setup: This unit has both Bluetooth and 5G WiFi which is a game changer. I can now connect and not worry about if I am going to be too far out of range for a signal. I can take a trip to the store and run errands while being able to monitor my cook. If I am at home, I still know that I have a solid blurtooth connection as well. The versatility is amazing and not something found on many other thermometers. Connecting to the app was very simple and intuitive with step-by-step instructions. There are several adjustable features in the app settings such as screen brightness and probe calibrations. The fact that I can calibrate my own probes is amazing.Response/Accuracy: This unit reads fast and came perfectly calibrated out of the box. It claims to have a .1 second respose time for reading temps. I don't know about others, but to me, this is faster than a person needs. It is accurate to within 1 degree which is right where it needs to be. If the accuracy seems off, then simply recalibrate the probe using the app. Also, response times between the unit and the app are pretty much instant. I couldn't notice any lag between the two.Probes/Accessories: I've already mentioned the build quality of the probes, but it's also imporant to note that the unit comes with 4 food probes, but has the ports to be able to support 5 food probes and one ambient temp (labeled as Oven) probe. This does also come with two grate clips to use for ambient temp probes, straps to keep your wires neat, and a USB-C charger. I do kind of with they sent with a blunt-tipped ambient probe, but I have made do with using a meat probe.App: I do like how easy it is to select from the many presets available. At the same time, I can also create my own custom temp setup. The layout is easy enough to navigate and understand. You do have alarms, presets, and even temp graphing capabilities. I will say the one thing I don't really like is that you have to have the unit on in order to see previous cook graphs and it wasn't super easy to figure out with adjusting the dates to find the cook you wanted to look at. Going back and finding these was not that intuitive and I did actually reach out to Inkbird to look into this.Battery: This uses a 2500mAh lithium Battery and claims to be able to last for up to 40 hours on a 3.5 hour charge. I did fully charge it one I got this and then did a 14.5 hour smoke which left my base at around 65% battery life left. This is fantastic knowing that it can last for a long cook without worry. Once it needs charging, you can get a good amount of charge in a short period using the USB-C charger. I do have to say, I kind of wish it came with a power brick, but nowadays people usually have extras sitting around.Should you buy this? Quite simply, yes, you should. Even with owning other thermometers such as Thermoworks, and even another Inkbird, There are so many features on this that you would need to purchase a couple different thermometers to match it. Price-wise, it's an absolutely affordable option for the amount that you get and I know that this will last me a long time through many cooks! Highly recommend!

Faster than my old one
Very easy to use - just extend the probe and it's on, fold it back into it's slot and it powers off. Backlit, easy-to-read, and very fast to stabilise on the temperature. All good!
