PoliGrip Super Denture Adhesive Powder, Extra Strength, 1.6 oz (45 g) One Bottle

Love the powder adhesive, I use it only on my upper denture, easy to apply (denture must be wet), little taste and will last all day. I tend to leave the denture fitted until it starts to come loose. If you have good fitting denture the powder is probably better than the cream as it is easier to apply and control the amount you want to use. I did not find it good on my lower denture due to the lack of area to apply the power and the fact that any loose powder falls off when you try to fit the denture. In summary, I use thwe powder for the upper denture and the cream for the lower denture. The powder will last around a month.

The best I can find anywhere,good fixation on the denture,probably lasts for about 6 hours when out eating,I use it on the bottom denture.

Really good find, used fixodent powder previous, but find this to be a very good equal to it........

Amazing adhesive great hold will buy again

i used to use Wernets but this is just as good, maybe better. It's more expensive but there is over 12% more and it lasts a great deal longer. Possibly this is because the powder is finer. I have only ever used powder for my upper plate - my lower set simply are not a good enough fit and I have to use a fixative cream.

It's ok but still mourn the loss of Wernets as this isn't a patch on it, I find it slimy and good but not great hold

This is outstanding. I’m new to dentures until my implants heal, so I’ve been worried. I used Cushion Grip to make them comfortable (a god send), but I needed something grippy to keep them in place. I doubt I’ll be chewing on a steak anytime soon, but for normal day to day use this powder is so good.

I have a small, oddly shaped denture with one tooth on it. It's temporary as I'm getting a bridge. This powder is definitely the best of the 3 I've tried, but not perfect. It doesn't last 12 hours on me & I can only eat soft stuff & soup. I took some advice from the precious reviews on here as well as experimenting myself, & found a method that helps. Do try it:- ●Fill a small spray bottle with cold water. ●Ensure mouth & denture are clean. ●Work near sink. ●Spray rough side of denture with water. ●Shake powder on it. ●Spray water over powder. ●Shake powder on it in every crevice. I do this as described & sometimes a third time as well. The denture needs to be thickly coated. Press in place firmly with fingers for at least 2 minutes, then press firmly with teeth for at least 2 more minutes. Should hold firmly for a good few hours. Gradually loosens itself & is easy to remove although there may be some paste residue that needs picking off. Salt on a toothbrush removes glue from mouth & denture easily. Hope this helps. 😁 I paid £8.99 for the powder on 13 November 2024 & will keep using it until I get a bridge at end of January 2025. 👍

Excellent deal, and this powder works far better than I ever anticipated! I have used tubes of denture "goop" for the last 10 years I've had dentures, but was allergic to most goop out there! When I'd take my dentures out, I'd spend up to half an hour trying to remove all of the goop I used to keep my dentures in place. It was a nightly nightmare! I have poorly fitting dentures too, but this powder does an amazing job! My lower dentures stay in place for 6-8 hours, and the uppers are still in TIGHT after all day! I have to wriggle them around to get them loosened, because the first time I pulled them out, that adhesive took a spot about the size of a nickel of skin off the roof of my mouth. Now that's strong hold!!! And no goopy stuff to get out of my mouth afterward. The powder leaves the tiniest bit behind that's easily removed by swirling a bit of water in my mouth. So this powder adhesive has turned out to be the best holding AND very affordable too!

Haftpulver hält was es verspricht, das beste was ich bisher hatte. Allerdings auch das Teuerste!!!! Auftragung des Pulvers war dafür mit meinem bisherigen Haftpulver besser!
