They were very hard to untangle before I could hang them up. Remote control does not work. I even replaced the battery. They look nice after I hung them up. Without the remote you need to turn on and off the buttons that are located under the solar ground stake. My reason for buying lights with a remote was to be able to turn them on and off from the patio doorway. Now I need to go across the patio and out into the yard to turn them on and off in the dark.

They were much larger than I thought ! I put them outside in my fence by the pool ! Absolutely beautiful and the way the breeze moves them at night is mesmerizing! I live in Northeast and I did not take them down for the winter months! They broke and separated from solar piece! I also live at the coast so the wind is much greater than inland! I bought my second set and cannot wait to replace the broken set! Absolutely love these!

The media could not be loaded. Gave these as a gift and they went over well. Only problem was all the wires were so tangled it took awhile to separate them

The remote did not work, however, the lights did. ( I even replaced the battery, but to no avail.)They stay on all night. I wish I could turn them off after three hours. The booklet was in Chinese, but don’t think I really needed it. The stars and moon are white plastic, so they are not very pretty to look at in the daytime. It was not worth my time and trouble to return it.

Disappointed! This was my second time ordering these Smarich Star Moon Solar String Lights. This set is NOT the same as the one I previously order. The solar panel is NOT detachable. The 1st set I ordered had a detachable solar panel & was perfect to detach and place in full sunlight every 3 days or so. This set unfortunately is NOT detachable and will not work for where I have the lights set up at. The remote does NOT work at all. The settings reset every time the lights come on they go back to rotating through all of the 8 setting even though every night for a week I reset it to my preferred setting, Super Frustrating. Buyer beware, even when reordering what you think is the same product may NOT be the same as the one you previously ordered. This set is defective and NOT the same as the light set previously purchased from this same company. I'm returning them.
