Bright with soft color
Exactly what I was looking for. Got other bulbs that were only 9W, and they were way too dim for my entrance, or even to read comfortably by the couch. These are the perfect brightness level, and the warm white still keep the ambiance cozy. Solid deal!

Wonderful lighting. Not to bright for 5-light chandelier!
We have two matching light fixtures in dining and living room. We got these to put in living room as too much light made tv watching difficult. Silll have brighter lights for dining room where we like it brighter.

Exceeding expectations.
I had concerns these would not be bright enough. I was happily surprised.These 40W Equivalent outshine the old 60W Equivalents and are still so very warm.Comparing the two it was like I gave my eyes a cozy blanket, comfortably warm.They let me get away from the harsh white bulbs and just enjoy the room(s).Fantastic!
