I bought this soap as an alternative to the Lemon Softsoap my husband likes me to keep at the kitchen sink. I suffer from eczema, and it's especially bad in the winter. Softsoap only makes things worse. So, when it came time to buy more handsoap for the kitchen, I decided to try something new. I wanted something with a lemon scent to satisfy him, but I also wanted something that would moisturize my hands, especially since I'm the cook and I'm constantly washing my hands. I am so glad I decided to give Cleancult Liquid Hand Soap a try. The Lemon Verbana has a pleasant, refreshing lemon scent without being overpowering. The soap is very thick AND moisturizing, and it's easy to wash off. What a difference in quality. I do want to add that although the soap was packed in a separate box, one of the cartons had a puncture and some of the soap leaked out onto the box. Thankfully, it's so thick, it didn't spill all over the place, so I only lost a portion of the soap. I reached out to Cleancult and they responded very quickly. It's the best customer service that I've received in a while.

As somebody with sensitive, dry skin, this soap is my go-to. Let's start with the packaging: eco-friendly and sustainable. Perfect if you want to reduce your "plastic footprint" while refilling your soap bottles. The scent is a lovely, natural lavender. From the scent, feel, and look of the soap alone, you can tell how natural it is. There are no artificial scents or colors: the lavender scent comes from essential oils and the soap itself is colorless. It's very gentle on the skin and does not dry it out. I would recommend getting the two-pack to get the most value for your money. I'd say that for a two-person household, they'll last about four months. It's effective enough at getting grease and nasty smells off of your hands, though more intense oils will have to be scrubbed off with regular dish soap.

I really like this hand soap! I wanted to reduce my plastic waste in 2026, and this is just one small step I’ve decided to take. However I was a bit worried because I’ve never used/seen this brand before, but after looking at the reviews, I decided to give it a try. Wow! The lavender scent is really nice, you can definitely smell it but it’s not too overpowering in my opinion. The soap also lathers like any other hand soap (I.e. SoftSoap, Mrs Meyers) I’d normally buy which was one of my main worries in switching soaps. Cleancult for the win!

I like this soap. I bought it because it is in a carton, not a plastic bottle. The scent is strong, and I wish they offered a scent free version. Other than that, it works well.

A surprising alternative to a brand I'd previously used, which increased by 100%. This has a faint lemon scent and doesn't leave your hands dry; instead, it leaves them moisturized. Though a tad viscous, it has no trouble in my automatic hand soap dispenser.

I like the soap! Unfortunately some of my favorite soaps don't come in a refill size and I am trying to be less wasteful about plastic, so I decided to give this a try. The smell is not subtle but I don't think it's too strong as long as you like lemon verbena scent. If you're not familiar with lemon verbena, just be aware it's a little more earthy than just straight lemon scent. The smell doesn't linger too much either, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your preference. While I like the scent, I might try a different one next time to see if there's something I like more. The soap is clear, lathers well, feels good. It poured easily from the carton, which came in good condition with no leaks or anything. On a side note, the first time I ordered this, they sent me the dish soap instead of the hand soap- just make sure to double check which one you got because the cartons are nearly identical (check the attached picture or video) and I almost don't even blame the person packing the order for getting them mixed up lol.

The Lemon Verbana scent is subtly strong & fresh and the formula is cleansing without drying. The long lingering parfumed scent is nice & isn't over powering, but it's ever present, even after several rinses with other soaps. Also, this soap is giving the impression of being environmentally better, natural & fresh; Limonene, Citral & Linalool (natural scent providers) can oxidize upon exposure to air, forming peroxides that are potent skin sensitizers and common causes of contact dermatitis, skin irritants & allergens. This may be ok for cleaning counters but I'm not willing to continue using this on my skin. While the ingredients are plainly listed; the context seems to imply something other than the real & possible implications of the ingredients.

I bought the reusable container with this lovely hand soap some time ago. I love that the company offers this refills. It was easy to refill my bottle and I still have plenty for at least another full refill, possibly more. It's easy to refill and it's a great value for the money. Also, the hand soap is excellent. It lathers well and rinses clean.

Won’t buy it again! It is kind of sticky and makes your bathroom sink dirty in a blink of an eye. It is not moisturizing either and it even makes your hand a bit dryer that it is.
