It's not quite as effortless to remove the cubes or fill the trays as you would think, but it's also not difficult and way easier then the standard plastic trays. Filling both trays one time fills up the box. The cubes are the perfect size and shape. It doesn't take up much space and it keeps the ice covered. Very impressed overall. I would buy this again.

It makes good sized ice but the ice is a little hard to get out of the trays

The product itself is cute, and the quality is acceptable for the price. I do like the idea of everything being closed off so that the ice doesn’t get that freezer taste, however for me the lid doesn’t fit the top, it’s semi warped and just lays there. I also found it a little difficult to get the ice out of the tray but it’s not impossible. Additionally, the bottom container holds about two trays worth of ice. I’ll continue to use and as it does it’s job.

The container and scoop are sturdy and decent quality but I think the ice trays are too thick. It takes forever for the water to freeze and it is difficult to remove the cubes from the tray. Other similar size trays have not taken 24 hours to freeze in the same freezer. The size of the storage bin is small and will probably only hold two trays worth of ice. The cube size is perfect if you’re patient. For under $10, it’s not terrible.

I'm not too fond of regular ice cube trays and really wanted this because the size seemed perfect. It is! I am glad I made this purchase, Only thing that I don't like is that sometimes the ice cubes stay stuck, and you have to push hard. But besides that, it doesn't leak AT ALL with the tops on. It's great would buy it for a friend.

I MADE MY FIRST BATCH OF ICE IN THIS TRAY AND WENT TO TAKE THE ICE OUT TODAY. i WAS ABLE TO GET THE ISE TO SOME WHAT BREAK UP BY TWISTING THE TRAY AS THEY SUGGESTED. WHEN I TURED THE TRAY OVER TO DUMP IN THE BUCKET THEY WOULD NOT COME OUT. I TWISTED THE TRAY SOME MORE. THEY STIL ONLYU LET A FEW FALL OUT. tHE TRAY ARE SIMI-REGRID SO i IONLY PUSH ON THE BACK OF THE GRID IN THE CENTERS OF THE TRAY. i TRIED TO SLAM THE TRAYS ON TOP OF THE STORAGE TUB. IT HELD UP GREAT BUT STILL DID NOT HELP MUCH. tHE CUBES AROUND THE EDGES i HAD TO PICK OUT. MY HAND WERE FREEZING AFTER i WAS FINISHED . I can not recommend this item even at this price

More cheap crap! The push-down-to-release-ice-cubes function it advertises is a joke; it feels like the box will crack before u can get even half the ice out. Makes an RV freezer size quantity of ice, in a regular house it’s not enough for even one person who doesn’t like ice, I am constantly refilling it. Returning it as I’m tired of paying top dollar for junk.

I used this for its intended purpose - making ice - and for that it’s been very handy. Doesn’t take up much room in the freezer and the cubes come out easily. The attached drawer for cube storage is great. This had a very fair price/ use ratio. You could also use this to freeze and store tomato sauce etc and the compactness of the device would be quite nice for the purpose.
