I have zero embroidery experience or skill, but was able to embroider something right out of the box. I’m so impressed by the machines ease of use and also large hoop size. Other machines with hoops this big were much pricier and as a beginner, I wasn’t prepared to make a big investment yet. The Poolin eoc-005 has definitely won me over though. I especially loved all the accessories that came with the machine and the printed setup instructions. And the customer service is exceptional. I’ve actually never had customer service this good after buying a product. I tagged Poolin on my first embroidery project and they immediately reached out and offered a call with their engineer. I’ve never had a company proactively reach out to me! And today, when I had some difficulty with my next project, they immediately responded with helpful videos and asked how to help. If you’re new to embroidery, I can’t think of a better machine to start with. And if you’re more experienced, it seems like there are so many possibilities with easy design downloads and preloaded patterns. I can’t recommend this machine enough!

I bought this embroidery machine to start practicing at home, and it has been easy to learn so far. It comes with all the accessories you need, which helped me start right away. The touch screen is clear, and the WiFi transfer works better than I expected. I’ve done a few simple designs and they came out clean once I adjusted the tension. I added photos of my first projects in case it helps someone. Overall, very happy with it for the price.

Love it Amazing and easy to put together and use... me and my wife doing small projects with it in one day. It's just that easy. Great investment for home use. I highly recommend this to anyone who like embroidery

The Poolin EOC05 is my very first embroidery machine, and I couldn’t be happier with how user-friendly it is. As a beginner, I was a bit intimidated at first, but the setup was simple and the interface is easy to navigate. In the beginning, I did experience some bird nesting, but I quickly realized it was due to using the wrong stabilizer for my fabric. Once I switched to the correct stabilizer, the stitching became clean and consistent with no more issues! Overall, this machine is a fantastic choice for beginners. It's reliable, forgiving, and does a great job once you understand the basics. I’m excited to keep learning and creating with it!

I got my first one and the presser foot was messed up so I sent it back and go another. When my second arrived the bobbin holder was messed up and will not rotate. Both times I’ve had it looked at by a professional and they said it can’t be fixed and has to be returned. So now I have to return my second and will not buy this brand again.

So far the Poolin EOC05 embroidery machine has treated me great. I did run into an issue where I kept getting a “thread broke / rethread” error even though the thread hadn’t actually broken. I reached out to Poolin support on WhatsApp and they were very responsive and gave me a few tips on things to pay closer attention to during setup and threading. After following their advice, the machine has been working great again. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and impressed with both the machine and the customer support.

This machine is fantastic! I am brand new to embroidery, but I have already made my own custom designs on my PC and embroidered them onto test fabric. (I have a regular sewing machine that I know how to use, and I'm well-versed with computers, so take that into account, as I think you should be at least a little familiar with both if you want to buy this machine and use it with relative ease) The touch screen interface is easy enough to understand, and I think it would be easy to use for people who are less technologically skilled as well. Updating the firmware on the machine may be more difficult for some who are not familiar with downloading files and putting them onto a USB. For my machine, it did not have recent firmware installed already, which is standard for computerized machines as far as I'm aware, so you NEED to get the new firmware to unlock all the great capabilities of this embroidery machine! After I got the new firmware, I can connect it to my PC through the WiFi and their file transfer app on their site, called Institch. I am still learning how to use it, but I have no worries because the customer service is AMAZING! I was worried at first because they are only reachable on Facebook and WhatsApp, but I actually find it much more reassuring and easy to talk to them. They have been very patient with me when I took several weeks to reply because I was moving, and were understanding and supportive. I think that most people who are at least a little familiar with computers would be guided very well by the helpful customer service representatives available. DO NOT BE SCARED to contact them on Facebook, they are very helpful, and if not for them I would be very lost with this machine right now! (images attached are a test piece I did by converting an image into an SVG and using Inkscape and Inkstitch to convert it into a DST file for the machine)

I chose the EOC05 2-in-1 because I wanted one machine for both basic sewing and embroidery at home. I’m a beginner and didn’t want separate machines or anything complicated. Remove the embroidery table to change the sewing mode. It's very convenient for home projects. I mostly sew simple items and then add embroidery for personalization. The screen is easy to follow, and I didn’t feel lost even at the beginning. This machine is best for home DIY use and learning. It’s not meant for business production, but for personal projects and everyday creative use, it works exactly as expected.
