TIMBER! Mountain Bike Bell - Bolt-on Model Yew! - Multi-use Trail Bell with Dual Modes

I’ve fitted it in addition to my regular bell (Knog Oi). This bell is small, light and discrete enough to fit and (just about) forget. UK roads are bad enough to keep the bell ringing on a commuter ride, meaning that the bell will keep gently tinkling, which is helpful for pedestrians and other riders. And if the road is too smooth to make it tinkle, a slight shake of the bars is all that’s needed. But if it becomes annoying or unnecessary, just flick the lever to silence it.

I had the older V4 (left in pictures) of the Timber Bell and they don't give guidance on Toque of course after getting a new bike did it up a little too tight and broke the plastic.This one is much chunkier (right in pictures) and feels like it can handle more abuse, the switch mechanism is much better, and the hinge to get it on the bars without scratching them is also great (and not stressing the plastic out) overall it's a bit larger than the older style but if the parts are modular as they claim this should last a long time.Really is vital to be noticed when out and about on single tracks and shared access ways. Most people don't mine being alerted but I've across many people and their dogs who get a bit grumpy. This does what it says on the tin and alerts others to your presence.
