What a great bottle. I was looking for a new bottle for the gym, and this is perfect. Great lid locking so it doesn't leak in your bag, and easy to use and drink out of in the gym.

Like most people, I've drank from a lot of water bottles in my life. And this is by far the best. In our house, we currently have 5 (1x 1L and 4x 500ml).But...There seems to be some design flaw in the 1L size. I've now owned three. First one lost at the gym, never had a problem with it. Second one leaked and had to be replaced. Third one (this one) also leaks. It leaks intermittently, never in the same place and never continuously. You'll be drinking and suddenly feel the drip of water landing on your t-shirt. Happens 6/10 times, so not always, but enough to be annoying. The 500ml bottles are completely fine, never leaked and great product.Overall, this is still a fantastic product. It's easy to hold, drink from, I've dropped it countless times and it's never cracked. But the seal on the 1L is clearly not good enough. Go for the 500ml.

The colours are a bit different between the two of these we have. One is more vibrant while the other is a bit more washed out in comparison. But both look great.We went with this brand because we were able to find replacement seals for them and that's ended up being a pain for previous bottle we have. Honestly they're just bottles. Others are super similar. But the replacement seals is really what sells it for us. That and the nice look.The notches for thumb and fingers feels good for our larger and smaller hands. And it is more comfortable to hold than other bottles we have. I think they look pretty good to.There are two ways to lock the bottle which is nice. One way is to slide up the button. You can slide the button down at the same time as pushing the button to open it so that's good for just making sure it doesn't get bumped a little without adding any effort to opening it.The other way is flipping up a bit of plastic around the button which holds the lid down so it can't open. That's nice and secure.So far we haven't had any issues with cleaning. I swear some bottles actually attract dirt! That matte finish feels nice and is holding up. No problems with anything.Not a big fan of the motivation text on the side. Would prefer if it was just plain. But whatever. It's not too intrusive.

Nice quality, pretty sturdy. Doesn't leak so far, and the lid snaps shut easily.

I purchased several ION-8 Recyclon 1L bottles (Rose Quartz, Pink, Aqua Blue). Of these, 2 lids broke, 1 bottle cracked at the seal, and the remaining lid started leaking (even after replacing the rubber seals) within a few months of use. The only bottle that hasn't developed any cracks or a broken lid is the metal 1L one (Periwinkle), but this may be due to lack of use of this one, as I hadn't used it much since getting the plastic ones. I love the aesthetics and the wide mouth of these bottles, and they're a pleasure to drink from, but unfortunately they're not designed with long-term use in mind. Please avoid these at all costs until they start taking durability seriously. A water bottle should last for years, not months.
