A Great Phone for Kids with Some Initial Hurdles I purchased the Teracube Thrive in black for my daughter from Amazon for $65.91 on September 11 and I received it right the next day , I was initially thrilled with the device. The phone's parental controls seemed robust location cannot be disabled by child , and I was excited to set up screen time limits, bedtime routines, and app restrictions. However, things took a turn when I took the phone to T-Mobile to activate it. Initially, it worked perfectly, but three days later, the Teracube logo appeared over my apps, limiting functionality. I was frustrated and contacted Teracube's support team. After some back-and-forth, I learned that I needed to purchase a $100 lifetime license to unlock the phone's full functionality. This was a bit of a shock, and I wasn't expecting it. The support team, particularly Joy, was helpful in guiding me through the process. The phone's customizable routines and parental controls have been a game-changer for us. We can set reasonable time limits for games and apps, and monitor screen time. My daughter can now play with her games with reasonable time limits and continue learning languages in the Duolingo App as well. I'm so happy this phone is available and can help so many concerned parents with their pre-teens and teenagers, like myself, keep helping them make the best use of time, and balancing between fun and the important things. We have used Teracube for a few years now and I’m highly satisfied. It’s great quality , works fine during travel on the cruise ship and airplane. Apps worked well over seas . We plan to buy a few more for other kids as gifts . Customer service has been awesome . Joy is very responsive and knowledgeable about the products and services. Awesome buy.

I got a the free trial on the first month for any plan from Teracube Wireless. I selected the $39/month plan. It worked well, but for some reason, I had to cancel the plan and I got the full refund from Teracube. Also, some customer support people were usefully to support me to setup, activate my phone at the beginning and to help me to get my refund by the end, and also to help me how to have a factory reset without the need of activating again. They are Joy and Oliver.

Pretty easy to set up. Comes with screen protector and case. The instructions are simple and the app works well; just make sure you refresh it so your changes or settings can reflect how you set them. I called customer support for a few questions and they (Joy) responded quickly, very helpful. Testing it out, all usage is reported in the app and it’s very limited to what your child can access. I’ll give an update in a few months.
