Nice lamps
Nice lamps. Dainty but sturdy. Look nice fitted. Bought for each side on the bed, was not disappointed with the effect. The glass shade is thick and sturdy. Nice and bright. Easily fitted, wiring was straightforward, earthed the metal casing when fitted. Lamp shade appeared tilted, small screw at back enables you to straighten the shade before tightening the screw back up. First lamp was delivered damaged, replacement received the next day. Very happy

Safety aspect
This light is well made but does not give much illumination with anything less than a 60 watt bulb. It is very simple to assemble and fit. My main concern is that it does not have an earth connection which I understood was necessary with a metal fitting.

Great wall lights
I've just fitted 2 of these lights in my living room, very easy to fit and with 5w LED candle bulbs (40w equivalent) they give the background light I was seeking. For the price they are very good value. Some reviewers have mentioned about the earthing issue. These lights in line with many for sale today are double insulated, they carry the correct UK/EU coding stuck to the inside surface. If installed correctly they do not need an earth. Another issue raised is that the arm could sometimes be out of line. One of mine was a few degrees out, but was easily rectified by a light touch with a spanner on the securing nut, it's no big issue.
