Keeps my UPS going, this is the second replacements I've used, and no issues.

Quick and easy to replace the battery
My APC 1500 GI UPS stopped working and the PowerChute software app was showing a replace battery symbol. (I can't complain as the original battery lasted 7 years). I ordered this battery as a replacement and it came next day. It was so easy to swap, just switched off, unplugged the unit and laid it on it's side, removed the battery cover, pulled the old battery out (using the pull tabs on it) and pushed this replacement battery into the slot. I then slid the battery cover back on, stood it upright, plugged it in and switched on. Using the PowerChute software I selected the self test menu and clicked the update battery replacement date button, which changed the battery replacement date to today's date. I then clicked on the self test button to run a self test, which told me it passed. The unit is now back in full operation and running on this new battery. I am really pleased at how quick and easy the whole process was, with no tools required!

Easy to fit and works well
Very effective replacement battery, if rather expensive.

Wasn't obvious I needed two.
This isn't a criticism, it is just a warning that occasionally it is best to open the UPS unit and physically check how many batteries it needs before placing the order. They both worked, but it is always a job to know whether to change the UPS or replace the batteries.

Original batteries are the best
I have used APC UPS's and batteries for more than 25 years and always been delighted.

APCRBC124 does fit and work with APC Back UPS RS Pro 900VA
I did a lot of research into the APCRBC123 that came out of my APC RS Pro 900. Took the plunge and ordered the 124 unit and it definitely works - it's identical apart from the storage increase. Just had an outage about a week after fittting and it was showing significantly better numbers than the 123 and that's comparing it to the same equipment when the 123 was new - like for like, in fact it's powering 2 monitors now. Given the few quid difference between the 123 and the 124 it's a no brainer, just check that you do indeed have the removeable battery. Some reviews talk about it not charging as quickly as a result. I have no overheating, the unit runs just as it did without any alterations or settings.

More expensive than clones but reliable
I have a number of the APC under desk UPS around the house and I've replaced two batteries so far in 10 years which is good going. The instructions to replace the battery are provided in the box with diagrams to make it simple to follow.
