I normally never leave reviews, but I felt I had to. I was hesitant at first to get this for many reasons, the fit, the color etc. But wow was I surprised, not only did it fit, but it fit perfectly. It was extremely easy to just snap in. It seems tricky, but just start from the top and snap towards the inside and bottom. Fits amazing. Honestly, I don't know how it looks so intact and seamless. It doesn't look like a cover, it looks like it was the original and came with the car. I tried to take it off so that I can take a before picture, but it is on there so tightly that I didn't even bother. The color is the exact color of the leather. I bought the 3 pack and happy I did. I only needed one for the front passenger side, but ended up putting on the ones for the back. Now, if it starts to happen to the back ones, they will already be protected. Buy this you definitely will not be disappointed.

This product is amazing! The passenger inside part of the door handle is typical problem in earlier X5 series. When it melts it is nasty gluey sticking stuff you cannot get rid of once you touch it. God help your passenger closing the door. I pried the outer leather part of the handle by gently pulling it off, and slid the new cover carefully upper part first, and gently massaged the lower part into its place. Pushed the outer part of the leather handle back into its place. Perfect fit. If you did not know about this issue with earlier X5 series, you would not notice the difference. What a money safer!!!

I am so happy to have discovered these easy to install door handle covers for a 2014 X5. The vulcanized rubber on the inside of the door handle had deteriorated, leaving it sticky and dirty. No amount of cleaning helped, and I initially thought I would have to replace the entire handle. Come to find these covers, very highly reviewed, are just the fix I needed. They are economical at under $30 (replacing the entire handle would be a minimum of $60ish to DIY) and they are really quick and easy to install. Be sure to read the instructions online for installation because it can be confusing at first, but it’s worth the end result. The only *con* is that one of the covers wasn’t completely colored in the tan that I ordered, so you see a slight line of the black base color in between the outside leather of the door handle and the cover. It is not enough to be noticeable to me, so I will not bother exchanging, just want to point it out to other possible consumers who might be understandably pickier. In all, I highly recommend this product!
