This pillow is a life changer! I got foot surgery and was constantly feeling uncomfortable trying to stack pillows on top of each other/prop blankets up to keep my foot elevated. With this pillow though, I just put my foot up and ta-da no more extra work. I have slept better because the pillow has a stronger support on my leg keeping it in place. The height is perfect and the pillow is soft and comfortable. The pillow has caused a lot of pain relief. If you are contemplating on getting this pillow like I was, just get it! You will notice the difference within the first night.

Broke my ankle on January 22nd. Ordered this shortly after since my leg would slip off pillows. It was fully formed within a minute!! Got straight to use which is the 1st picture. I had the towel on there because I had to ice my ankle. Didn't want the pillow wet. I like the comfort it provides while lying down. However, I think it should be taller if we want our feet to be above our hearts. Idk anyone who lay's flat flat with no pillow under their head. So either it should be a full rectangle on both sides so the knee is at a 90° angle or it should at least elevate more at the foot end. I also use it in my kitchen on a chair when I'm standing at the stove or sink. It provides much needed relief. That was a genius move for me. I'm still waiting on my knee scooter 🛵 til then I'm using this all around. I sometimes take my leg down and want to sit up straight in bed, and I place this behind my back and it gives great support to me for that as well. The pillow I never knew I needed. Awesome. I have something similar, but much smaller for in btwn my knees to help with my sciatica when laying down. Bottom line is buy this! Cover is removable for a wash and there WILL be some piling! Fast recovery to all!

essential for comfort following foot-ankle surgery as i elevate my limb. it arrived compressed in packaging but the foam expanded after unpacking to a full size, looking just as advertised. the material is soft and comfortable. the "handles" (fabric) help with adjusting the position as i'm in bed. it's a little too long for my average female size, so to keep my heel "floating" per doctor's orders i had to put a pillow under my leg atop the leg elevator -- but this was comfortable and the elevation height was exactly what i needed. it still felt more secure than a tower of pillows. i purchased one for the house, and one for the car; i stretch out in the back seat and elevate my leg on the way to appointments. i typically pair it with a soft pillow for comfort. glad i purchased, and definitely recommend.

I felt clumsy already, and using the stacked up pillows for elevation was not ideal. I’m so glad my husband suggested this. It has elevated not only my leg, but also my comfort level, and given me a huge sense of relief. It’s stable, the size is perfect, and still easy for my family to bring to me in different locations and I become more ambulatory. 100% recommend. Tip: as another reviewer pointed out, my cast can snag the material, so I place a towel over the top to avoid. I guess that would be the only suggestion for improving the product- a cover that doesn’t snag.
