Flint is a western man
One of the better western stories. Flint gets the job done and gets the girl too! Definitely worth the read.

Fun Western
I have always heard good things about L'Amour but had only listened to Last of the Breed. I enjoyed Flint. It was a fun western novel with the classic steel willed protagonist. A simple read, but L'Amour keeps things interesting.Check out my book at: Destiny Scrolls: Path of the Warrior

Loved it for years
Great story by a greater author. Simply the greatest western storyteller of all time. Grew up with his books and still visit them time time again.

This is one of his best novels, and I have read many of them. I have tried to read novels by other western authors but they don't live up to Louis mark.

Great story of loss and redemption! Masterful character design and a good plot. I really enjoyed rereading this story again.

The Good Read
If there is a better western writer then this author I have yet to read them his books have everything you need in a good western and more I think I have read every one of his westerns more than once and never get tired of them.

A wonderful western
This is one of the best western novels by Louis l'Amour and i keep reading again and again. This is a novel where the protogonist fights adverse circumstances and survives to become a hero.

A Man With Nothing To Lose
Flint is a vintage L'amour character. Well paced action with plenty of gunplay and fisticuffs. A beautiful but cold wife, a hardy ranch female boss in need and a greedy land swindler all combine for an enjoyable story.
