Perfect for my Nucanoe Unlimited
I cart my heavy (over 100 lbs loaded from my car to the water. This cart works very well. I use the standard wheels. I think it is well worth the money.

Lot of problems
I bought this cart in 2023 to manuever an Old Town Auto 120 kayak. A wheel fell off a couple of times and I fixed that with some steel pins. Then on several occasions a support strut fell off. Most recently was a couple of days ago so I had to reload the kayak into the truck and back down a ramp. Not a bad way to launch but the ramp is steep and I really didn’t want to go in up to my waist in 54 deg weather. The cart is rated at 200 lbs and my kayak weighs 150 so maybe there isn’t enough difference. When it worked it was fine but I’ve lost confidence in the product so have ordered from a different company with a much heavier rating.

Works fine for me
If you decide to purchase this you'll want to make sure you spend the time to adjust the rails as necessary so that your kayak sits flat in its groves. If you don't do that and attempt to force / jam the boat into position the cart can come apart (I know because I made that mistake). Basically the rails need to be at right angles to the wheel axel or they can pop out of position with the weight of the boat. Also, you'll want to make sure the cam straps loop through the base and the rails (I did add some zip ties to help secure the connection but it isn't necessary). Once set-up properly, the cart worked great for me.

Great Cart for my Outback
Easy to put together and use. Totes my loaded Hobie Outback over all kinds of ground, even sand.

Sadly Disappointing
The C-Tug kayak cart came with favorable recommendations so, it went without saying that the new R model would likewise continue in this vein and be a reliable choice for my new Hobie PA 14 360 kayak. It seemed well built and assembly was without issue. However, in my case at least, it failed miserably. The bunks, which lock in place with two hooked tabs, could not handle either the weight of the Hobie. Or the non level terrain. Or both.I had roughly a 10 yard, semi wooded area to traverse to get to the water’s edge and the C-Tug couldn’t handle it. The bunks would come unlocked and fell off and even though the cart was strapped tightly to the kayak, the entire cart would dislodge from the kayak leaving my new Hobie literally grounded.Coming and going to and from the water required no less than 6 reassemblies and re-strapping of the cart to the kayak. Those 10 yards became a back breaking nightmare.Hence, the cart was immediately returned. Inadequate to say the least. On to Suspenz!

Stays Together and Comes Apart Easily
OK, I have several of this style Kayak cart that are taken down for storage on the Boat in case you need it again to cross over shallow areas while out on the water. The longer rails on this take up a little more room than my shorter and wider Paddle Type supports. But having these longer rails definitely has helped me with having to do Zig-Zag type portages. They stay in place better and my kayak isn't angled fighting the wheels with this in some situations. As long as this is put together "properly" it will hold together until you "want" to take it apart again.I'm happy to have these wheels and do recommend them.

Needs better Wheels
I have been wanting a cart for my kayaks for quite some time and was happy to find this once that uses 2 huggers underneath and not poles that stick up through the scupper holes of my boats.Assembly was fairly simple, but as soon as I had it out of the box I immediately could tell that the wheels were only going to be good for a flat and level surface. As a kayaker who enjoys paddling on rivers, I can tell you that almost every boat launch area I use is anything but completely flat. Unfortunately this means that this cart does NOT roll very easily on uneven surfaces. For me, the whole reason I need a cart is to help get through those uneven areas and these hard plastic wheels don't do it for me. I think the cart design seems to be adequate for my boats (9 ft, approx 57 lbs each). I am going to look at possibly upgrading the wheels to some after market style if I can figure out a way to attach them to the cart as I think the cart is still good, just needs some tires that can roll over uneven surfaces like a rubber air filled tire. For me, this cart has potential, but unfortunately falls short due to the wheels being a hard plastic and not suited for unlevel terrain. If you will be boating in areas where it is paved smooth all the way to the boat ramp, this will likely be perfect for you, but if you are needing to use it in a gravel or grass parking lot, it fails miserably.

Crap
Designed to break down for storage inside the kayak dry compartment during use. The downside of this is that the struts snap off during use, I’ve used it once and decided to return it. The struts kept popping off when I was trying to load and unload my kayak. Also the straps are poorly designed. It’s not possible to get it tight enough because there is no racheting mechanism. Nice concept overall but poorly designed.

Le prix
Très bon chariot pour kayak avec un prix très intéressant, il faut le placer presque au milieu du kayak, comme ça on ne forcera pas pour le soulager, il basculera comme une balançoire
