Benvo Weighted Ropeless Jump Rope Crossfit Speed Rope Skipping Rope for Double Unders, Exercise, WOD, Boxing, MMA Beachbody Training Fitness- Updated Version

I hesitated to write this review until I had a chance to use this jump rope for awhile because I am one of those people that rely on the (honest) review of others to help me decide whether or not I will make purchase the product or not.I am someone who used to like to jump rope because I did feel it helped me to get in better shape. After stopping for probably 10+ years because I lived in a house with low ceilings (and would wear out my jump rope trying to jump on my outside porch), I had pretty much given up on jumping rope to try and get in shape until I stumbled on a few articles on cordless jump ropes. Because there was so much mixed reviews on whether or not this was a legit way to get in shape, I could never make a decision until I finally decided (after reading many reviews on Amazon) "what the heck, it's less than $15 - if it doesn't work, no big deal."I will tell you I am glad I bought this product. I am back to trying to jump rope 5x/week for three 3 minute rounds (with 50 second rest) and my goal is to work my way up to 5x/week for three 5 minute rounds. While I am not sure just how much of a "legit" workout I am getting, I have found nevertheless I am doing something - which is way better than nothing. For those who may be hesitant to buy this product of a reviewer wrote how part of the jump rope flew off one time while jumping, that is true - it happened to me, but all you have to do is make sure you tighten it every time after you're done jumping (I make sure to tighten them after the end of my second round!).So if you are on the fence on whether or not to buy this product, I hope my review helped you out (;

Definitely a learning curve, but giving it a shot. The absence of a rope will take some getting used to....but I also have to admit I haven't used a jump rope in maybe 50 years! Not having a rope to trip on should be a lot safer....but, let's see how it goes!

I think it's best to use these on hard surfaces so you can skip or hope easier while twirling these. They give you a surprisingly good workout if you use them for at least 15 minutes. You'll feel it in your arms and legs.

It takes a few times to get used to.

Great quality, great exercise, and LOTS of fun! I'm obsessed! I keep picking up the "jumprope" all day long so my activity level has gone way up since receiving them. FAST shipping, too! I'm ordering one for each of my children so they don't take mine!!!

I really like the idea of jumping rope without the risk of tripping or getting smacked in the leg with a heavy leather rope. This ropeless jump rope would work better if the balls at the ends of the strings were more weighted to make them spin more like an actual exercise, leather jump rope. I'm going to have to see if I can modify it to add more weight because right now the little balls kind of swing all over unless you spin them very fast. If you go that fast, it does not simulate actual exercise jumping.

If you're looking for a more affordable indoor rope set for Beachbody MBF and MBFA, this will be great for you.It does take some getting used to because it's not exactly like using a regular rope. I found that my coordination wasn't what I thought because one side was going great while the other side was struggling a bit. That's not a gripe about the product, that's just a personal thing, and an experience you might also share.I only rated 4 stars because in the last week of my first round of MBF, one of the balls flew off the end of one of the ropes. Luckily it didn't hit anything, but I had to stop in the middle of my workout and stick it back on (it didn't fly off again after that, so that's good).

These are two handles with small weights attached to each off a flexible cord. These really simulate the feeling of skipping with a rope. I carry it with me and use it even when a travel - really good and quick workout that is easy to carry along with me.

These are easy to use, fun as a form, of exercise. I use the weights in the handles and am surprised at the difference they make. I use stopwatch on my phone to measure time. Highly recommend the, as cheap, effective form of exercise.

I really love this product. It’s practical, great for people with mobility limitations, great for klutzes like myself, and it doesn’t make that aggressive noise where the rope slaps against the hard floor (or my legs) or worse, gets caught on carpet.What I didn’t love though was the weight of the balls at the end. I wish they had even a .5lb weight in them to help with the momentum inside. The weighted handles are an absolute must but the balls could use a tiny something in them too. That’s just my personal gripe though. I love this product, got one for my dad too and he’s happy with it.Good buy!!!

I was really disappointed. I got these tonight and the length of the ropes are short and uneven. It's noticeably obvious when you try to use them. It's not even 12" like described: one was 10" and the other was 8"!! I thought I could shorten the one to make it match but making the ropes shorter means you lose the effect of the longer tether and the "ropeless" design. I shouldn't have to hack a purchase.The grips were thick and felt nice, and the weights in the handles were fine.I've bought tons of items off Amazon, and I'm sad to say this is my first return ever. I'm not even gonna sleep on it: It's going back tomorrow, label is already printed. Disappointed for sure! First time the ratings deceived me!

Love these! Bought them to be ready for the Beach body MBF when it comes out on BOD. Looking forward to using them. Good quality and nice price!
