I did a ton of research because I heard some batteries or cables were causing overheating issues due to improper power loads for the device. I have experienced no concerning heat levels even in the Texas summer.Charges my Quest 3 fast enough so that regardless of what I'm doing it never loses onboard battery. If you're planning to do some extremely unhealthy event where you keep your headset on for 8+ hours, buy a third party link cable that will also keep it charged. Otherwise, I enjoy VR for sometimes up to 5 hours when I'm in an obsessive episode and the battery has no issues keeping me going, and I often go 2-3 days without charging either my headset or the battery just because it supplies it with that much power. Also, by putting it on the back of the headset, it's drastically improved long term comfort by balancing the weight.Highly recommend.

On the Quest 3 this can extend your playtime by 2 to 4 hours depending on what you're doing but it does not stop the Quest 3 battery from losing charge, it simply slows down the rate at which it drains. My original intention was to buy two of these that I could switch between but since the Quest 3 battery also drains the headset will eventually go dead and switching to a new battery won't keep you playing indefinitely. I'm glad I just bought one to test it out instead of two. Still worth buying one though and probably the best option there is at the moment for using the Quest 3 as long as possible.

Battery life extended beyond limits! I can play without worrying about running out of battery while playing online or working out, and, on top of that I even have a SUPER POWER BANK available... I love it! 👍🏼❤️‍🔥Tip: I have the "Kiwi Strap". If you pair it with "Bobo VR anti-steam", it's a nonstop fun combo! Also without it, it works perfect if you don't suffer from lenses' steaming while playing.

This is absolutely essential to making the most of your Quest 2 headset especially for long sessions. I barely notice the weight and it's distributed perfectly as a counterbalance to the headset itself. It's easy to put in place even without taking your headset fully off. And the little attachment to hold the wire makes it so you don't have the wire dangling against your head. It charges your headset faster than the battery drains while playing. So if you are on low battery, you can put this on, let it charge up to the 70s/80s, and then take it off and charge the charger while you play for another few hours. Then you can just rinse and repeat so there's minimal interruption.

If your tired of waiting 2.5 hours for your Quest 3 to charge for only 2 hours of play time. This defiantly is a worthy upgrade. It will extend your play time by about 4 hours. Letting you play all day with waiting on the Q3 to charge. Just remember to plug it in when your not using. As it does need an over night charge to completely charge back up. As this will give you a little bit extra play time.I used it with the elite strap. The best spot for balance is under the strap but this does make taking on/off the head a little difficult. You can also place it above making it easier. But then it becomes top heavy and you have to be careful when looking down.There is Velcro on the underside of the battery which will stick to the OG strap if your still using that.

Good enough as a battery pack but the attachment point flops around pretty badly on the original strap system. Caused my headset to fall off (first headset floor strike) due to the awkwardness of the attachment and the overbalance of the weight against the straps.charges quickly enough. The supplied strap system and USB-C cable made cable management a non-issue.

This actually does make you headset way easier to play,it feels much more balanced and the extended life is great
