ERP Microwave Oven Universal Cavity Touch Up Paint 98QBP0303 Snow Bright White

Used it to repair a burn mark on our GE Profile MW when the magnetron failed. Some reviewers said that the paint did not cover very well. Not my experience. I did a prolonged shake of the bottle to make sure the paint was uniformly mixed. It flowed on very well and I felt I had a thick enough layer after the first coat. Applied at night and by the next morning, the MW was ready to be used.

Perfect for touching up the inside of an old microwave.

It works well, however, the applicator brush is quite flimsy! The bristles are too thin for the paint, which is viscous. I had a hard time applying the paint evenly over the spots where rust had been removed. Next time, I will buy the spray can!

Shake well. Goes on smooth and even. Appy 3 to 4 thin coats allowing some drying time in between. Give 24 hrs for complete dry time. Had a 1/2"long X 1/4" wide area to paint where the wheel roller for the glass plater would sit. Now good as new. A little whiter than the microwave but the bare metal is covered. Back in use 👍

Not a good color match for some older microwave ovens. My GE Profile above range microwave is 25 years old. There were some places where the old paint was cracking, so in an effort to repair it before it starting arcing, I ordered this repair paint. While "Snow White" might be a good color match for new machines, the Snow White hue was way too bright white to even be a close match to the interior of my microwave.It's not easy to find food safe, high temperature, no oder (or at least low oder), enamel paint. I read in a blog that ERP brand, Off-White color paint was the way to go. I've searched the internet and I can't find any repair paint matching the requirements. ERP is now selling "Pearl White" color, which I tried in a spray can delivery, but that was not white enough.Based on my experience with the color of this touch-up paint (bright white) not matching my microwave's interior, I can only recommend this paint for newer model microwaves. That's because I've been led to believe their cavities are brighter white than older microwaves.

I am so extremely pleased with this purchase! It saved my sanity lol. I had just bought a new microwave and yup my luck strikes yet again ugh. I was cooking chicken and a bit of it came away and burned a hole in the micowaves paint. Sparks galore lol. Well I was of course quite upset and while browsing Amazon found this paint. I decided to try it and WOW it has completely repaired the burned area! I painted a small amounts beyond the actual damaged area and applied about 3 coats of the paint just to be certain the area was completely covered. I then waited 24 hours for it to dry and no issues since. I waited to do review because I wanted to see how long if at all it would hold. Well it's been well over 8 months and it is still covering the repaired area, no chips away from the paint even with scrubbing and no sparks. I am so happy. I am going to purchase more for my clients microwave rather than have that sweet older lady spend to buy a new one. Also to keep some extra on hand just in case. This product is a life saver 😅Well it's been well over a year and the repair is still holding strong!! You can't go wrong with this paint at least from my experience 😊

Smells just like nail polish, and I suspect it is, but thinner. Applied it 4 different times to the bottom of the microwave, where the plastic wheels of the supporting ring had worn off the paint. Four times, within a couple of days, the touch-up paint completely wore off, even after letting it cure for two days. Even after applying two thin coats and letting the undercoat cure a day. Of no help to me at all.

Small bottle, but it covered a large area of out microwave. We are no longer afraid of having a spark or fire from lack of paint. Do your prep. Clean and sand, then paint away.
