Green Light & Rechargeable

I can finally see the laser on a screen! Green is the way to go. Love that I can clip it on my shirt so I never lose it while I'm talking

This just what I needed. I was looking for a presenter with a green light. It is easy to use. I charged it overnight and it was good to go.

This presenter clicker is just what I was looking for! Slim, light, and ergonomic fit. The laser pointer is bright and visible. Best of all is the universal charger. I can travel with one cord. It charges up quickly.

This was easy to use and recharge and the green pointer is much easier on the eyes (and for those with color blindness it is viewable)

Worked plug and play nearly instant response in clicking compared to delay from an older one we were using. Worked just as fast 30ft from the hosting computer as right next to it.

Form and Contents: This device comes in a Pen like form with a built in USB (type A) attachment nicely tucked in to one side and hidden by a neat cover. Design asthetics get two stars. This has a nice manual, USB-A charging cable. The manual helps users to understand how to start the setup. An adapter for USB C is needed for new MBPs which makes it a bit cumbersome. However, the setup for the Mac does not work as described in the manual. This is a big minus and so this loses one star. Function: Once the setup is completed using the manual process (figured out the workaround) as described in the user manual, You have to manually start the presentation. This is a big user experience let down. Normal presentation clickers allow for a button to start the presentation and end the presentation with two more to advance or manage the flow. Loses one star here. The the laser light comes in red or green color. I chose the green color and it works beautifully well. Third star for this.

I will be transparent here - the main reason I ordered this item was for the green laser pointer. The presentation clicker functions were not particularly useful for me. This product seems to be reasonably well-built, and is all plastic. It includes a green laser pointer function, as well as buttons for controlling presentations. (I did my testing with PowerPoint). There are up/down buttons for flipping through slides, and additional buttons on the side for volume control of the PC you are connected to. There are also secondary functions that can blank the screen (long press the Down arrow). The button with the rectangle can be long pressed, and it will slowly cycle through the open apps on the PC, allowing you to release the button when the app you want is highlighted to switch to that app. There is also an on-off slide switch on the side opposite the volume rocker. Turning this off turns it off completely – the laser doesn’t operate with the switch turned off, either. This clicker is powered by an internal rechargeable Lipo battery that charges with a USB-C cable. The USB dongle for the PC is hidden inside the removable cap (which also has a pocket clip). The cap fits tightly, and I don’t see this accidentally falling off the device and getting lost. Once the cap is removed, the USB dongle is magnetically held in place in a slot internally. This magnet isn’t very strong, but it doesn’t really need to be with the tightly-fitting cap protecting it. I confirmed that all of the functions worked in the PowerPoint app on my Lenovo laptop. The green laser is nice and bright, and easy to see. My only complaint is that the price (around $25 at the time I ordered) seems a bit high. I have another very similar device that uses a red laser and runs on a single AAA battery instead of the internal rechargeable battery in this green laser version. The other clicker costs less than half what this one does. Given the rechargeable battery upgrade and the green laser, I think the price point of this clicker should be around $17-20, personally. I am tempted to reduce my rating to 4 stars because of the price point, but after looking around some more, this one is actually one of the lowest cost clickers with a rechargeable battery and green laser. As a result I am going to go with a 5-star rating for it anyway...

Everything else in this device works as advertised, but it requires the custom USB receiver and does not pair with blue tooth capable devices. Lose the dongle and the device is worthless.
