Last forever and sound great
My favourite strings. I have hyperhidrosis in my hands so I always cover my guitar with sweat and these still last for months - definitely worth the extra money, I have saved a lot of money on strings buying these over uncoated ones.

Excellent quality, in a class of their own
These are very good and not much different in price to much inferior sounding string. The nanos are indeed both bright and smooth and sound great on my Fender. These strings were recommended to me by a designer and repairer of guitars, namely phoenix guitars of Norwich. Very pleased with the heads up.

Great strings but one high E string missing from box.
Great quality strings. Pack of three string sets. 2 set of strings contained an empty envelope. So 1 set was not a full set. So I have no high E string. Will have to keep the set for emergency individual changes.

Highly recommended!
I’ve tried a lot of different strings over the years, but Elixir strings are by far the best for me. They have a clear, crispy tone that really brings out the character of my playing, and they last way longer than most other brands. I’m genuinely very happy with them. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the high E (9) sometimes rips on me a bit quicker than I’d like - but that might just be my playing style. Still, overall, I keep coming back to Elixir because nothing else compares. Highly recommended!

Stay brighter for longer, easy to play, slippery and fast
I have mildly fallen in love with these strings after years of switching between brands and never quite feeling right for my playing style. I play a lot of fast and aggressive Metal & Hardcore, and these things just punch straight through and give loads of options with high mids and highs, without being too shrill. The nanoweb coating gives an extremely fast, and to begin with slippery, feel (this took some getting used to but MAN they are good after breaking in). I would say for me the G string on the 10/52 set feels like a slightly too thick gauge, but that could just be personal preference. In terms of longevity- I play averagely about 2-4 hours a day, and this first set lasted me about 8 weeks (approx 170 hours) before the webbing started to fray at the picking end (this may also be attributed to my heavy picking hand). Throughout all of this, I noticed little gunk or corrosion on the strings, and the brightness only really started to roll off after about 5-6 weeks. The only thing to bare in mind, as a few other people have mentioned in reviews, is that my E string snapped at the bridge (tune-o-matic). I don't switch between tunings TOO often, but I feel this string suffered more from switching between E and drop D. Overall, for a little more money, I am going to continue running these strings unless I find something even better.

Great sounding strings with the best longevity in the business!
I've been an avid fan and user of Elixir Nanoweb strings of all gauges for well over a decade now and I don't see that changing. I've always known that I've had particularly acidic sweat and when I first started playing guitar 20 years ago now, I was burning through a pack of 'regular' strings in a week. Even with cleaning the strings after every use and using a type of string cleaner, a week was the most I could get out of a regular set. Then I got a set of Elixir Nanoweb strings and everything changed. Yes, they do feel 'slicker' at first but that feeling wears off after a while and you do get used to the difference in feel as compared to regular, uncoated strings. People say that the tone of coated strings is different but it's not something that I've ever noticed. If I put a set of Elixir Nanoweb strings on a guitar and I play that guitar for 2-3 hours every day, I will generally get 2-3 months of use out of that guitar before they start sounding 'dull'. Yes, the added cost might put some off but please, don't let that stop you. In the 3 months I get out of Elixir Nanowebs I would usually have restrung 12 times with a regular, uncoated string. For me that represents great value. + great longevity, easily 2-3 months from a 'daily player' + slick feeling, great for slides and bends + value for money long-term

best strings for a gigging musician
I've been using Elixir for a number of years, and whilst they are not the cheapest, you get what you pay for, I gig 2-3 times a week and these last me a month of gigs, easily, other brands I'm lucky to get a gig and half out of them, mainly due to the acidity of my skin, I can kill a set of strings in a couple of hours. they hold tune, stretch in quickly, and in my opinion have a great tone that lasts and lasts. I use them on all my electrics now and have played on 10-46 since I was 15, tension is perfect for me, Give them a whirl nothing to lose her on Amazon, if you don't like them at least you tried...

Har använt Elixirs strängar under flera år nu och jag tycker att det är riktigt bra strängar, och här till ett bra pris för ett 3-pack

Excellent strings with a very long life on guitars. Feel fresh for months with practice for about everyday and very rarely go out of tune, stay bright and have a un coated feel. Great for people with multiple guitars as if you were in the northern hemisphere with the humidity of the summertime, a normal set of strings can go flat and lose their spank and brightness very quickly whereas these will retain that nice brightness and spank If anybody thinks they are too much money for what you are getting, then I dare you to go out and buy three sets of normal strings, even with three normal string changes compared to one change of these these will last much longer than the normal strings There is nothing worse than dead strings that are exposed to humidity and get sharp edges etc. love these strings. They are the absolute best
