Worked great for helping children learning to count.

Great for an EC classroom!
I ordered 2 sets for my classroom (I teach in a k-2 self contained class). My kiddos absolutely loved using these for our math lessons this week. It’s also a great manipulative for fine motor skills as well (the OT team at my school loved them). There are a lot of seasonal resources on teachers pay teachers to use with this as well.

Great for counting and fine motor
My kinders LOVE this set! The links help fine motor by taking the links apart and putting them together. Plenty of links are included with the set. The cards are a little on the flimsy side though. I noticed after first use they were already starting to look rough. However, they are kindergartners so I didn’t expect them to last. Even after the flimsy cards the set is still worth it!

Awesome tools!
These helped teaching patterns to students that learn better working with manipulatives! They understood the lesson 10x quicker!

Fun
My students had fun playing with these and a couple students actually used them as they were intended. Mostly my kindergarten students used the links to make the longest chain instead. They broke a couple links the first time playing with them. The links seem a little smaller and thicker (less flexible) than other links I have and were a little more difficult to unlink, thus, the breakage I assume.

Quality Hands On Activity
The media could not be loaded. These ice cream pieces are sturdy and reinforced around the circles for kids to link them. It’s a fun activity to practice counting and build fine motor skills.
