This Lego figure is an a grossly inaccurate stereotype of a British gentleman. The background images on the packaging provide a clue as to the designer's thinking: The London Eye, Tower Bridge (London), Nelson's Column (London), Big Ben (London) and the Palace of Westminster (London). Britain comprises Scotland, Wales and England but the figure is clearly intended to represent an English person, or more accurately, a London gentleman. Yet he is wearing a Union Flag waistcoat! The Union Flag is the flag of the United Kingdom - Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England.
