Laptop Phone Holder with MagSafe

I've been using the DK177 Magnetic Phone Holder for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely loving it! It's the perfect solution for keeping my phone handy and accessible while I'm working at my desk. The magnet is a small circle but its very strong! It easily holds my iPhone 11. The installation is also very easy; all you need to do is peel on the adhesive and stick it onto any surface. It's supposed to be for your laptop but I use it for my Tesla and it works just as well! highly recommend

I take my laptop when I stay in hotels and I like to play games, watch shows, listen to music, and work all at the same time. Sometimes you can’t do all of that on one device so I bought this so I could be working on my laptop and have a show playing at the same time and it so worth it! the magnet is strong but not too strong and the device is small so it’s not clunky on my laptop and if I ever need to remove or replace it, a little adhesive remover will get it right off. Highly recommended!

I bought this years ago when I was in college, I still cannot get this off of my old laptop case. It was time for a new one since my old case cracked. I repurchased this and it SUCKS! The first one I was sent, would not even stick in the slightest to my new case. Despite the case being brand new and not dirty. I requested a replacement, just recieved it today. I cleaned the case surface thoroughly, let it air dry completely. Attempted to put the device on, what do you know? DOES NOT STICK. Such a waste of money and has definitely gotten worse over the years since I previously did not have this issue. Do not buy.

I install this item with the provided 3M tape onto the side of my 27 in monitor and my phone looks great attached to it with the magnets. Super strong adhesive tape and super strong magnet. I like it better on my monitor then on my laptop.

Works as advertised. Nice to be able to have your phone somewhere convenient while working. It was easy to set up also. Just peel and stick.

As a Digital Dj this tool and idea is very helpful to me in the field for keeping contact with fans, and song request. Loud vibrations in the club causes me to miss all kinds of info and it cause me to loose money when I miss an important text like club directions and location. It is truly a thoughtful design. However in the dj world everything is about ascetics and feel. The product has to feel right and solid. The product works but it feels flimsy and wobbly once mounted. The base piece seems well constructed and durable, the problem is center of gravity, what material your protective case is made of and the power of the adhesive. If you have a rubber case that can stretch it will add to the wobbly feel of the mount. However even with a hard case I think it may be still wobbly. The magnetic plate should be place in a location where the center of gravity doesn't cause your phone to lean forward, that can be a problem if you have iPhone pro, the cameras get in the way. I also think perhaps the magnetic plate and the part where it locks on to the mount should be larger maybe it might help with the wobble. If you're in a situation where you may need to have you're laptop facing down this could be a problem. While doing this the adhesive gave out and phone fell off. Luckily for me I don't often need to do this. Don't get me wrong the magnet is powerful but glue is not so. I understand why, you may want to remove the plate at some point. So for some advice set the plate in the upper center (not the top)of the phone if you have a large one. I see a future in these designs and hopefully they can come up with a way for it to feel more solid while retaining its sleek and modern look. So for me Im going to try it in the field when clubs open up again and see how well it holds up. I'll keep my eye on possible upgrades like possibly adding a swivel of some type. So for now this get a 3 and hopefully in the future I can give it a 5. PS does anyone know if we can order more plates?
