it works effectively even though I didn't use it every day. After I saw the results from using it for 2 days consecutively, I reduced it to every 2 days and it still produced a similar effect. In terms of taste, once you take the strip off, there's a thin layer that stays on your teeth from the strip but it's easily dissolveable
