Nice mounting plate to level Nest doorbell camera (2nd gen wired) on Hardie siding. Perfect fit and profile with Nest mounting bracket, very happy!

Fantastic... I bought this as described that it works with the newer nest doorbell generations... but this could work well for both wired and battery. It gives you a flush level mounting when your mounting over traditional vinyl siding. I liked it so much i picked up a second for remounting my older first gen hest hello... the mounting holes and the rounded shape work i think for all google nest doorbells. Avoud that squared off version. I picked up black, becasue someone mentioned the white will discolor over time. I can't vouch for that.

I bought this hoping that it would work with the Belkin Wemo Smart Doorbell camera, and lucked out because the screw holes line up perfectly! The mount is taller than the Wemo, so it sticks up on the Top and Bottom, but I don’t think it looks bad. You could always use a router or a dremel to grind it to the exact size if you really care that much. The only other issue is that we have wider siding panels so there was a gap on the sides, but we just plugged the holes with Sugru.

Worked exactly as described, was the best mount for vinyl siding, simplifying the installation.

This mount is disappointingly fragile and barely withstands any pressure before it falls apart into pieces. Despite its appearance, it has the durability of Styrofoam rather than the expected resilience of plastic. A significant issue is that, upon installation, I’m now left with two unsightly screw holes in my wall. When handling this product, extreme caution is needed, as it cannot endure the slightest stress without breaking.

Great idea, but turned yellow and cracked in just a few months.
