An investament for any household!
This is a heavy duty extension lead, well worth its selling price. It’s very well made, easy to carry, easy to use! Component parts are finished well; its winding ability is smooth in operation.

Very good value.
This is basically 8m of good quality electric lead with 4 plug facility and thermal cut off if overheated - which may happen if you use a few plugs on an unwound cable and pushing it's limits of 3000w. That's it really, So why the groaning and gripes?I'll address those. Firstly, Cable reels like these are meant to be fully unwound before use due to the limitations of the power carrying capacity of the cable; otherwise any unwound will tend to heat up and initially melt the outer covering.Secondly: Cable reel plugs don't have on/off switches. Thirdly: Before purchasing Cable reels; assess reason; likely usage and overall convenience.I purchased this one because the length was right; the number of plugs were right; it's power capacity was right and it represented good value.It loses one star as I feel it's cartridge is overall too flimsy which makes unwinding difficult and rewinding extremely difficult.Personally; I purchased it to be permanently fully unwound and am very pleased.

Good bit of kit.
I bought this to run a lead from my generator to my power tools, compact and good lead length, rated to 13amp when unwound, thermal cut out, good addition to the shed.

In My Opinion, The Best Available In The Price Bracket,
Xxxxx came in and ‘borrowed’ one before I had even had the chance to test them. Good job I had ordered two.These were not the first MasterPlug Four Socket Cassettes that I had bought, although they were the first fifteen metre cassettes. Different length cables for different jobs of course. I like the build quality, I like the colour palette, and I like that they offer different sizes.The only problem that I have had with the MasterPlug Four Socket Cassette Cable Reels is, they are so good that they have a habit of getting ‘Borrowed’, and I have now lost two that way.
