It was pretty nice beefy in spots factory 44 wasn't weld up truss whatever rust prevention oil they had on it was hard get off but everything else is solid on it time will tell how strong it is

I was very nervous about buying this axle. But I was very surprised. The axle is beefier than the stock Dana Rubicon 44. Excellent welding and machining. Note when installing a TMR axle truss extra grinding is required due to the beefier welds. All parts swapped over no issues. Well done. The real testing begins now with durability while wheeling. So I have had the axle in all summer, standing up well no issues. A very pleasant surprise. Well done. Would recommend this axle to others. UPDATE- I spent a week in Moab Utah. I hit a rock at low speed with the passenger side tire. This axle folded like a pretzel. I enquired if they could do anything for me. The best they could come up with was 3% discount off the price of a new axle which has increased by $200 since I bought it in July of 23. I did not expect a free axle or even 50% off. I do t recommend this axle anymore, something isn’t right if it bent this easy.
