They were 1000% worth the whimsical buy. 1- Keeps your actual burner and grate free of spills and mess. 2- Simmer is truly an effective setting and no hot spots or burns on the food. 3- This helps make the absolute best risotto since the heat is evenly spread. I would buy again

These are nice quality and keep my meals from burning on the stove. The only thing to make them better would be if the heat sudn’t darken them.

I have a gas range and the flames for each burner are uneven. As a result, I have burned several dishes or found my finished dish to be softer than the portion of the pot resting over the lower flame. This product has solved my problem.

This is a review for our second set, but covers the first set also. Both sets had a chip on the leading edge of all 4 diffusers.They work as they should, but as soon as something overflows while hot, they stain permanently.While both sets are chipped, and stain easily, we’re not going to return the second set. Our pots and pans are over $2000, and these do work as advertised except for arriving chipped on the edges and the food stains not being able to be removed.

These really work well in distributing the heat evenly across the surface when you have cookware that do not have thick bases. Also helps in keeping the bottom of the cookware from deforming due to localised gas flame heating.Would highly recommend.

When you want to simmer something on an extremely low flame, these heat diffusers work well. My friend has a cabin which depends on a propane fueled stove. It’s much hotter than a normal gas range. Again, this heat diffuser worked well. I’m happy that I bought them.

I had high hopes for these diffuser plates. I spent a fair amount of time looking at specs and reading reviews before settling on this set. I only use these when I am making rice on my gas range, and have only used the large one 2-3 times since October when I purchased them. This morning I noticed it is warped pretty badly. I did not notice the warp when I put it on the range to use last night, so it must have warped during last nights use which was no different from the previous times. My advice for anyone looking to buy diffusers, buy cast iron that is 1/4 inch thick or buy a better quality pan. I now wish I had put this money towards a better quality pan.
