After reading the reviews I bought this unit as a replacement and I'm happy to say that I really like it. It is the same size as the old one, but stores more charge and shows its state of charge (0-100%) on a little screen. Cool! I like to keep my iPhone battery in the recommended 20-80% charge range (for long battery life), so it is convenient to keep this external battery on my desk and give the iPhone a quick charge whenever I want to boost it up to 80%. It charges the iPhone really fast and I can use it quite a few times before having to charge the external battery. There's no problem knowing when to charge it, because the little screen tells you when the charge is getting low. It's about the same size and weight as my iPhone 13 Mini, which may be too heavy for some people to lug around. Mine lives on the desk in my home office, so it's not a problem. Why not just have a charger on my desk? Because I will sometimes be talking on the iPhone when it gets low on charge. When that happens I can just continue talking, walk into my office, connect the external battery to the iPhone, and carry both of them to back to wherever I want to be.
