A Dictionary of Mechanical Engineering (Oxford Quick Reference) Paperback – 25 April 2013

In this digital world, analog publications may have seen the things of the past. But what about my generation who grew up with the analog things? When I am tired of looking at the high quality screens of today for many hrs, I still need to read something good printed-on-paper on my bed with my poor glasses in the evenings.That's why I've decided to order that "concise" encyclopedic dictionary.But its definitively for students, may not be for professionals!

This is a really useful dictionary for those in the Mech Eng environment. It contains simple stuff, complicated stuff, stuff that I thought was simple but now seems complicated and complicated stuff that now seem simple. It does the job and it does it well. Although more of a reference book than bedtime reading I would think!

This is a great series of books, but I think you might need another one linked to the subject to cross reference with it.

and detailed, am yet to find something that's not in there.

brought as a gift this arrived very promptly and my son says it is perfect for the mechanical engineering course he is on.
